"I won't let you get away this time," I said coldly. My eyes narrowed to a slit, trying to intimidate him.
"Stop where you are!" I shouted.
"Stop right there!"
That guy took a step forward but I held my stance.
"No, you won't intimidate me this time. I won't fall for it."
He stared at me with his bright unblinking eyes. Then he opened his mouth and said, "Meow."
And off he went with a swishing tail.
