Chapter 10

I wish I had an excuse as to why I have been absent lately, but I've just been lazy lately and just reading other stuff and neglecting my stories! Sorry guys, I'll try to do better, but I got college starting Wednesday, so we'll see how that goes. Here's a long chapter to make up for my absence! Sorry, if it doesn't really make sense.

16 Weeks Along

I wish I could say that things had gotten better with our friends, but they haven’t. I’ve never really noticed how stubborn they all are. According to Liam, Louis gets defensive and starts yelling every time someone even brings up Harry or Zayn and Zayn gets teary eyed and immediately leaves the room. Danielle has been going around and pretending like nothing has happened and Josh has just completely shut down. He won’t talk to anyone right now, not even me and really fucking hurts.

The only easy person to get to talk is Harry, like he started talking to us, me and Liam, as soon as he woke up that day at the party. He at least explained his side of the whole situation and to be honest with you, my heart went out to him.

He wasn’t lying when he said he didn’t mean for any of this to happen. Harry did have feelings for Louis, which I had known about, but he has apparently had had these feelings for quite a long time, longer than Louis and Zayn have been together. Harry told us that he had admitted these feelings to Louis a few months before he and Zayn got together. Harry didn’t even know about Louis’ feelings for Zayn or even if he was gay in the first place.

Louis’ rejection wasn’t of the kindest. He had lied to Harry and told him that he wasn’t gay and he would never be gay and claimed that Harry just had some school boy crush on him and that it would past and that Harry wasn’t probably even interested in guys. Harry being Harry had taken all that in stride and never brought up his crush on Louis again and started to agree that maybe he wasn’t gay. Of course, that backfired.

When Louis and Zayn came as a couple it had devastated Harry. Harry told us he could have taken a simple rejection, if Louis just didn’t like him that way he could have handled it and moved on. No, what Louis did was equivalent to a slap in the face. Not only did he lie about not being into guys, but he had nearly convinced Harry that it’s wrong to be into guys.

This is where he messed up. Harry was feeling vulnerable and just needed someone at the time and Josh just so happened to be the closest one there. He didn’t mean to have sex with Josh, but Josh was there and Harry was so vulnerable and I guess he just wanted to feel loved? So, one thing had led to another and then they fell into a rhythm after that. Turns out their sexual adventures weren’t just around alcohol, they had been hooking up casually since the day Louis and Zayn came out.

Harry had only grown to hate himself though. He hated the fact that Louis lied to him, he hated the fact that he was having sex with one of his best friends who he had no feelings for at the time, but he started to hate the fact that he was gay more and more as each day passed. And that eventually led him to take it out on Josh.
