chapter 3

Y/N POV

I pulled Haechan to another table before apologizing to him.

"Sorry about that. I didn't know my brother can be friends with that asshole." I said.

" It's ok. I'm used to getting teased by him." He said.

"Don't worry I won't let him bully you." I said trying to comfort him. I didn't want Jaemin to keep bullying Haechan. Haechan is such a nice boy, why would Jaemin bully him? Did something happen for this to happen?

I didn't want to ruin Haechan's mood any more so I dragged him to get some food and we both got ramen.

"Damn, this is good." I said slurping up my noodles.

"I know right. I've been eating this for my whole school life and still can't believe how delicious this is." He said finishing his noodles as well as me.

We put back the plates and utensils and walked to our lockers to get stuff for our next class.

" Hey. I need to go to the toilet. Wait for me in the classroom and save a seat for me!" Haechan said running to the toilet.

Haechan POV

I ran to the toilet and when I got out I was pushed against the wall.

"Listen here nerd, stay away from Y/N. She's mine. She'll never be with someone like you." Jaemin said grabbing on to my collar before slamming my head against the wall and leaving.

"Ouch..." I said, touching my head.

Thankfully there's no blood.

I ran back to the class room to see Jaemin at my seat talking with an annoyed looking Y/N.

I don't know why but everytime I look at Y/N, my heart starts to flutter and my heartbeat quickens. Could I li- no silly Haechan. She would never like you. You're a nerd, not someone popular like Jaemin. She deserves someone better.

I looked at her and walked away. Not wanting Jaemin to hurt me anymore I decided to let her go.

Y/N POV

I was in the classroom waiting for Haechan when Jaemin sat next to me.

"Hi Y/N." I heard a voice said sweetly to me.

I turned to see who was the voice and it was Jaemin...

"Ugh what do you want Jaemin?" I said clearly annoyed.

" You're number and you." He said which made me roll my eyes.

"Why would I want to be with you if you keep bullying my friend?" I said rolling my eyes and wishing he'll go away now.

That's when Haechan walked in the classroom and he looked disappointed when he saw Jaemin sitting next to me.

He looked at Jaemin and then me and walked away. Strange.... I thought we were friends?

"Yah Jaemin can you sit somewhere else?" I said wanting Haechan to sit next to me.

"Sorry princess but there isn't any other place to sit anymore." He said with a smirk on his face.

I looked around not believing him but there wasn't any other seats available. Gosh I have to be stuck with him for the rest of the day.

~After school~

I packed my bag before heading to where Haechan was sitting.

"Hey Hae-" before I can complete what I was going to say, Haechan stood up and walked past me.

I didn't want Haechan to leave without explaining what happened to him so I chased after him.

"YAH LEE DONGHYUCK!" I said running as fast as I could to catch up with him.

"What do you want." He said, coldly.

"What's wrong? After you went to the restroom your attitude towards me changed." I said getting kind of sad.

"It's nothing. I just don't want to be your friend anymore." He said turning around and walked away but before he can walk out of the door, i grabbed his hand.

"Yah, Lee Donghyuck. Why are you like this? Did someone say something to you? Did Jaemin said anything to you? Did-" I asked getting furious over his attitude towards me.

"OK FINE! IT WAS JAEMIN OK?! JAEMIN ASKED ME TO STAY AWAY FROM YOU. HE THREATENED TO BEAT ME UP IF I EVER GET NEAR YOU AGAIN! I DIDN'T  WANT TO GET BULLIED ANYMORE SO I DID AS I WAS TOLD!" He shouted which scared the hell out of me.

"Haechan.... Why didn't you tell me?" I asked getting worried for him. He didn't deserve to get bullied.

"I was scared ok?" He said, tearing up.

I walked nearer to Haechan and hugged him while he was crying on my shoulders.

Jaemin POV

I was going to find Y/N at her locker when I saw her hugging a crying Haechan. Seeing that my heart broke immediately. How many times must I tell that nerd that Y/N's mine and not his?!

I clenched my fists before going to Haechan and separate them form the hug.

"YAH LEE DONGHYUCK!" I said pushing him to the locker and punching him in the face.

I grabbed onto his collar and shouted," HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM Y/N! SHE'S MINE!"

I kept punching him until Y/N held on to my arm.

"YAH, NA JAEMIN! STOP IT!" She screamed which made me stop and looked at her.

"Yah why do you want to be with this nerd when you can be with somebody like me?" I said holding on to her, not wanting to let her go.

"WHY ON EARTH WOULD I WANT TO BE WITH A BULLY?!" She screamed which made me stop and let go of her.

"I hate you Na Jaemin." Y/N said and I swear to god, my heart just broke into millions of pieces hearing those words come out from her mouth.
