Camp Castaway

After four long days of constant work and survival, Colossus and Mabel were finally taking a well-deserved break from fire roasting marshmallows around the fire. As they relaxed and chatted, the rest of the group was out hunting for food and scavenging for parts to improve their camp.

Timmy, on the other hand, was focused on a small invention and had air pods in his fox ears, blocking out the sounds of the outside world.

Colossus pulled her stick out of the fire, savoring the sticky sweetness of the roasted marshmallow. Mabel gazed at the beautiful waterfall, finally able to take a moment to appreciate it amidst the chaos of their survival.

"It's so peaceful here," Mabel remarked, taking a bite of her own marshmallow. "I wish we could stay here forever."

"After spending some time here, I've been thinking that this could be a great spot for a part-time residence," Colossus said as she slid down the log and rested her head back on it.

Mabel's eyes widened with excitement. "Or even better, we could turn this into the headquarters of Cartoons Unite! It's far enough from Syndicate eyes, and the scenery is breathtaking."

Colossus grinned. "That's a fantastic idea! It would be roomier than Steven's house, especially if we plan to add more members."

Mabel beamed with pride. "I'll start drawing up plans right away!"

Colossus nodded, her expression turning serious. "But let's not forget our mission is to get to Steven. With any luck, the gang found a battery and they're communicating with him right now."

Mabel nodded in agreement. "Yes, I know!" Her eyes rolled playfully, "But it doesn't hurt to plan ahead."

Mabel was about run off to draw up plans but stopped in her tracks when she heard shrill screaming.

A child screaming for help, Making both the girls drop what they were doing. Colossus jumped up from her seat both her and Mabel looked up at the ledge next to the waterfall and saw a small blue hermit crab yelling, "Chosen ones, help!" he yelled in fear.

Unable to resist the call of a scared child. Colossus charged towards Mabel, grabbed her, opened her wings, and flew up to the ledge.

After landing on the ledge and setting Mabel down gently, Colossus put on her heroic stance, pushed her hair back, and smiled gracefully, ready for the task at hand.

"What's wrong, little crab?" Mabel asked sympathetically as she crouched down to the kid's level.

"A giant monster is attacking the crab fortress! We need your help!" he cried. "You have to help us!"

"This couldn't have happened at a worse time when everybody else is gone and it's just the two of us!" Mabel stated.

"Two is all you need to get rid of a monster!" Colossus said confidently, pounding her fists together. She was determined to help the little crab children and their home.

"Couldn't be more right! No matter how many of us there are we will always save the day!" Mabel agreed.

"Don't worry, Kiddo! We'll help! Just lead us to your home and we'll take care of that monster," Colossus reassured the little Crab.

"Really?! Oh, thank you!" the Crab exclaimed gratefully.

"Follow me!" he said, and started to lead them away from the ledge. Colossus and Mabel followed the little crab away from the camp

Crab Fortress

Our heroes arrived and were greeted by a towering fortress made of wood, bamboo, and vines, which was designed to keep danger out. As they looked around, it appeared to be quiet, with no crabs in sight and no monster attacking the wall.
