Skye was never one to pay attention to the news. She never cared much about what was going on outside of her own world. The only things she cared for was herself and her job. She worked at a small corner coffee shop, and was there just about every day. To her, it was the same, customers came in, they stayed for some time, then left. It was always the same. Here and there she'd even encounter a few rude customers, but it was nothing she couldn't handle.

Jisung was arrogant. He was an idol who adored all kinds of attention, positive or negative, he didn't care. As long as it was him. For some time he even sparked his own rumors, some positive, but most were negative. Jisung also went out on his own, not telling his manager a single thing. He went out to public places, meeting fans on almost every street corner. He thrived in his way of life, all eyes were on him and he /loved/ it.
-
One December morning, Jisung had managed to sneak out, as he normally did, but this time, he wanted to get away from the attention. His manager had been nagging him since the last time he had snuck out and was caught doing so. For awhile he wandered the empty morning streets, looking for a place to hang out for a bit. He let his eyes scan the surroundings until he found what seemed to be a small coffee shop. It looked pretty empty, probably just opened, so that's where he decided to go. When he got inside, he picked a corner booth by the window so he could watch the cars pass. For a moment, he was immersed in his own thoughts, but the voice of a girl snapped him back to reality.
"Iced Vanilla Latte? Number seven?" She called.
Her voice was sweet, and rung in his ears, so Jisung did what he was best at: getting attention.
He made his way to the counter where the girl stood.
"That for me?" He smirked, resting his elbows on the counter so that he was eye-level with the shorter female. To his surprise, she was unfazed by his presence. The girl scoffed.
"Can you please get out of the way, my customer is behind you."
Her sass made him take a step back.
"Aren't I your customer too?" He narrowed his eyes towards her, but she remained focused.
"You haven't bought anything, therefore you aren't a customer. Now, please."
Jisung's eyes fluttered in confusion. He never had anyone treat him like she did. He blankly watched as the girl behind him came forward, taking the coffee in her hand before disappearing.

Skye turned her back. Normally when dealing with arrogant and rude customers it was best to ignore them entirely.
"Iced Americano." The voice behind her said, making her turn.
"Sir-" She started, but he cut her off.
"I'm a customer, and maybe if you're nice I'll even sign the receipt."
His words caused her to sigh.
"You can keep the signing to yourself, I'll make the drink just because it's my job."
Skye handed the boy a ticket with a number on it before disappearing into the kitchen to fix his drink.

The girl's actions made Jisung's jaw fall open. She had no idea who he was. He felt almost stunned that him, an idol, was unknown to someone like her. Jisung sat himself at the bar, giving up his old corner spot. He wanted to be there when she emerged from the back. For some unknown reason, he felt himself attracted to this girl. He had never met someone who /didn't/ know him, or who wasn't a fan of him. He liked the excitement of it.
When she returned, his eyes scanned her for a minute. He picked up on her red apron and small black pin which read "Skye". A hum slipped from his lips.
"Iced Americano." Her words were sharp, he could tell she was slightly annoyed with him.
His hand gripped the cup that sat on the counter, tossing his card onto the counter.
"Must be nice to throw something like this around." Her words felt cold, he was confused.
As she handed the card back, Jisung took hold of her hand.
"Do you really not know who I am?"
