In Love With My Bully

Spring Break

*Skipping past School days*
I don't know what happened but I'm happy, I'm free from all the madness, just want to go on this vacation now. Thank god it's today. By madness, I mean, ever since Wednesday , I thought things would change, then it went right back. Maverick and his people are bullying me again, but the notes... I don't understand, I'm guessing he's just trying to mess with my emotions. Whatever, when it started back up I got bruises again. Mostly on parts people can see, but I tell my parents I did something. We packed the car and went to the airport. Finally, I get to see the people that we're going to be with.

When we arrived we unpacked and went inside. "They should be sitting at the gate already." My mom said. We got our tickets and went to the gate, "there they are!" My mom said. I didn't even see Lani first, I saw Maverick first. "Y/n! You're the special people!" Lani said hugging. "And you guys are too..." I said. "What's wrong?" Lani said. "I can't be in this one week trip with Maverick." I said. "Our parents are around nothing will happen." She said. We got onto the plane, and apparently our parents decided to sit me and Maverick together. Great.

"This won't be that bad." He said. "Maybe for you." I said. "Trust me, this will be the best trip." He said. "Ha, yeah sure." I said. "What's the matter?" He asked. "Ok, on Tuesday and Wednesday you were being kind and giving me random notes, then you went back to bullying me. I thought everything was going to change." I said. "I need some fun in my life." He said. "So fun to you is bullying me." I said. "Not exactly." He said. "Forget it." I said. I put in my earbuds and fell asleep for half the plane ride. I woke up from the landing, we got up and left. We got our bags from baggage claim and got into separate cars, teens in one and adults in the others. We drove to the beach house. From the outside it looked amazing, and then I stepped in and it was amazing. I ran upstairs and went through the bedrooms. "I CALL THIS ROOM!" I said putting my bag inside the room. I walked downstairs. "Let's get changed and go to the beach." Mr. Baker said. We all went and got changed and walked to the beach. The guys went in while the girls stayed out. We sat talking until we wanted to go back to the house. When we did, we all took showers.

We went out to eat at a hibachi place. I sat next to Lani And next to Maverick. We ate and talked. "What are we doing tomorrow?" I asked. "Being tourist." My mom said. "Ok." I said. After we were done eating we split the bill and left to go back to the house. We spent the rest of the day talking and playing card games until we were tired and went to bed.

*Next morning*
I woke up got ready and headed downstairs. The parents were making pancakes. I ate a pancake and sat on the couch. As soon as everyone was done eating we headed out in our cars. We went into a shop and looked around. "You know what these would be good for." Maverick said holding sticky notes. "To give me more notes." I said. "Correct." He said. "Don't." I said. He put the sticky notes away. I didn't really want anything from the shops. We went to a few and then back to the hotel. We went and changed and went to the pool.

We all got in and us four played chicken fight. I was lucky enough to take down Maverick. Then we did challenges and just fooled around. After a while we left, took showers and changed. Same process just different. My dad and Mr. Baker were grilling steaks outside. "Can we be kids and play hide and seek?" Lani asked. "I'm done." I said. Then Cash And Maverick agreed and we played until the food was done. Soon enough we were called, we went and ate our food and did nothing for the rest of the day. I changed into my sleeping clothes and plopped onto my bed. I ended up doing the same thing, watching YouTube until I fall asleep.

*Next Morning*
I woke up, same process and went downstairs and ate. After a while we sat around and did nothing. We did nothing until night I guess you can say. "Let's go to the beach." Cash said. "You guys can, I'm going in the pool." I said. We all changed and they left except Maverick. I hopped into the pool with my hair in a bun. He walked out and put his feet in the water.

"Why are you still here?" I asked. "Because." He said. He got into the water and closer to me. "Because?" I asked. "I don't need anyone around." He said. "Why?" I asked. "So I can do this." He said. He put his hands on my cheeks and kissed me. I kissed back, but then pushed him away. "How do I know you mean this, after the notes then back to bullying me?" I asked. "What did the notes say?" He said. "Ohhh..." I said. He smiled and then lifted my legs so they were wrapped around him. He smiled looking up at me, he leaned in for another kiss. Let's just say it was that hot tub scene from 'To All The Boys I Loved Before.' I unwrap my legs from his waist. "Y/n, I only bullied you because I'm one of those stupid people who don't know how to show a girl I like them." He said. "You're really stupid." I said. "I know." He said. "Well, I'm gonna go shower." I said.

I got out of the pool and went to my room, I took a shower and got dressed in my sleeping clothes and went downstairs. "Showered already?" I asked. "Yeah." He said with a smile. I sat next to him on the couch. "If we go back to school, and you bully me again, I swear to god." I said. "I promise you." He said. He kissed me and went back to his phone. We did nothing for the time remaining until everyone got back home. "How was the beach?" I asked. "Caught little crabs." Lani said. "Of course you did." I said. "How was the pool?" She asked. "Good." I said. They all went upstairs to take showers, leaving me and Maverick alone again. Maverick and I watched a YouTube video of the tv and ended up falling asleep, I ended up falling asleep on his chest.

*Lani's POV*
I walked downstairs because I heard the tv on. I turned the corner and turned off the tv, I turned back around to see y/n sleeping on Mavericks chest. I put a blanket over them and took a picture and sent it to Mia

Me: I can't believe I'm saying this, but they do.
