Chapter 2: A State's Experience of World Meetings

     Thanks to some teleportation magic courtesy of Romania and Norway, everyone involved in the incident earlier got to the meeting way before anyone else. England, Romania, and Norway got everything ready for the meeting while Japan and Canada hid the states in the back of the conference hall. Thankfully, no one used the back door of the conference hall unless they were insanely late. After 1 and a half hours, all of the countries were assembled.

     "So what is the point of this meeting? I've got more important things to handle!" Switzerland was pretty irritated at the sudden announcement of a world meeting.

     "Calm down Switzerland, it must be urgent if we were told to meet right away. We also weren't required to dress formally either." Hungary was trying to reason with the Swiss man, but it wasn't working too well.

     "Yes Angleterre! I was enjoying my afternoon without country issues thank you! Did your magic finally start an apocalyptic event like I predicted?" France teased.

     "No Frog, however it could cause a worldwide problem if not dealt with." England was trying not to pick a fight with the Frenchman today, so far so good.

     "Anyway, were are America and Japan? If this is really important they should be here right now! I'd expect this from America, but not Japan aru!" China forgot Canada. ;-;

     The magic trio stiffened a bit after hearing China's question. "We'll get to that in a bit." Romania tried to hold off the question, but Hungary made it worse.

     "Why should I be listening to a blood sucking vampire that can't handle his own magic sometimes?" This earned Hungary a hiss from Romania. The only thing that Hungary did next was mutter, "Dogs don't hiss."

     "Alright settle down everyone, lets get this over with. Trust me, I don't want to be here more than any of you. However there is a serious reason why I brought you all here on short notice." England paused to clear his throat while everyone surprisingly turned to give him attention.

     "Due to a magical accident, I may or may not have split America apart." As soon as he finished the sentence, everyone gained a look of shock and disbelief.

     "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU SPLIT HIM APART! DO YOU KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO SOME OF OUR ECONOMIES?!" Germany yelled at England. "The guy may have owed me money! However he was one of my largest trade partners aru!" China started spewing out curses in Chinese.

     "Ok take it easy, I know this is bad for all of your economies, but there is still more I need to tell you guys about this topic! So sit down and let me finish!" England thankfully was able to get everyone under control again. "So, when I split him apart, he didn't really die. Instead, he split into 50 children that represent his United States." The Brit then looked towards the door and yelled, "Japan, Canada, bring them in." The door creaked open and Japan walked in, closely followed by Michigan and the other 49 states, with Canada bringing up the rear. It took a few minutes for all of the countries to process what they were seeing. Then someone spoke up, it was Cuba.

     "Oh great! I was already having trouble with one American, now there 50 of them! I could only handle one person radiating the scent of burgers and arrogance, no it's going to be overwhelming." The states were either shocked, intimidated, or really, really, offended. Still, none of them could compare to how Michigan felt. "What was that? I'll have you know not all Americans are like that stereotype. Some of us actually have back bones, and we all have feelings!"

     In the back Prussia muttered to Germany, "The mixture of sass and maturity is great with that one." However Cuba was angry. "Excuse me little missy, that isn't how you should talk to your superiors." He then flicked Michigan on the forehead. Before he could pull his hand back, Michigan grabbed Cuba's wrist and squeezed it hard. Michigan let it go once Cuba started to say, "Ow!" The state then went over to her siblings to avoid anymore confrontation, while Cuba sat down.
