Hello my name is Sandra Backer. And i'm a proud African-American. I was born on march 28, 1915. Yep i'm 15 years old. my father is the towns colored peoples church pastor. While my mother stays at home with my babay brother. His name is Robert Backer. I attend Abraham Lincoln colored Elementary school. Yeah I know their are a ot of "colored" statements in this time. The reason for that is 'Racial Segregation'. It basically means people are segregated for the color of their skin. We Black flocks are called "colored" for a reason i don't understand. I mean last time i checked i came out my mother womb black, and to this very day i have the same conplextion. I just don't get it.
People in this town are really crude. The segregate against water fountains, school, banks, movie theaters, jobs, walking space. Don't get me wrong i'd rather be living this life than the life "colored" people had to live before the aboloishment of slavery thanks to Abraham Lincoln. I just Wished we were all treated equally and we all didn't judge on people by their outside appearance, but by the integraty of their hearts. If only dreams did come true.
The terms Those whites use for use are just rude. They call us Niggas etc. First of all i'm a negro. The word Nigga is an affensive word to African-Americans. Calling a black person Nigga will start a fight. I just hate it when a black men calls another black man a negro. How does that stop white from calling us that if we get angry when they call us it, but don't have a problem for each other to say it to eachother.
iknow its kinda short, but like "Regrets Of Love" its just a preview. Please vote, fan, comment, and share on other websites!:) Love you guys<3
