Chapter 1~💜

It was a nice day here in Falcon Claw. Everything was peaceful. It was great. I was guarding Lord Aaron's house today. Jacob was out with some of the other kids in the village. They were all being guarded by the second in command. Suddenly, I felt a dark presence. It was quickly approaching. I ran to the gate to see the high priest of O'Khasis giving something to Jacob. Jacob ran back home and I tried catching him, but it was too late. In a second, everyone died around me. I recognize that magic.

It's the magic of an ancient amulet. It was supposed to be sealed away but it wasn't anymore. Someone somehow unsealed it. I believe that someone was the high priest. I could hear his evil laughter from where I stood near the Lord's house. Suddenly, I felt something hit my head. It didn't take long for everything to go black as I fell unconscious.

I've finally found her. She his from me for so long but, because of that amulet, I was able to locate her. I can't believe someone like her was hiding in a small village like this. I'd think she'd want better.

I woke up with my wrists chained. The chain was hanging down from the wall but I had a good amount of space to move my hands a bit. I was already sitting up, facing the bars of the cell I was in. It wasn't a nice looking place. "I'm so glad I finally found you. And you thought you could get away from me." Said an ever so familiar voice. "Let me go!" I yelled angrily as the familiar female came into view. "And why would I do that?" She asked in taunting way.

"I don't see what holding me here will possibly do for you. I will never help you. You will never be able to use my power. You might as well just let me go." I said. Suddenly, I felt a powerful electric shock. I let out a scream if pain. "Those chains are magic. I'd watch what you say unless you want to get shocked more. I could mostly feel the shock in my wrists and ankles. I looked at my feet. There were chains on my ankles too. "And I will find a way." She said as she left.

She came down a few hours later with some food. Not much. Just an apple, 2 pieces of toast and a glass of water. She left and I ate. At least she'll give me food and water. Once I was done eating, I could feel myself start to get tired. What time is it? I'm not sure but I know I need sleep. I woke up sitting like when I fell asleep and saw my kidnaper. "What do you want?" I asker in a rude tone. She activated the chains again. "I told you to watch what you say." She said.

"I have no reason to listen to you." I said, pain clear in my voice. She shocked me again. "I just came to make sure you were awake." She said as she walked off. I really don't like her. Jeez. These chains are way too small for me. They're crushing my wrists and ankles. She would come see me every once in a while to give me food and stuff. I kept getting shocked. I mostly kept quiet but she seems to enjoy watching me be in pain. This happened for weeks. Then years. 15 years to be exact.

After she left the small dungeon I was in after coming down for the sole purpose of shocking me, I noticed a way out. I know it's only a matter of time before she figures out a way to either use my powers or make me obey her. I have to leave. I managed to get out if the chains and I quietly broke the door. There was a door in the dungeon that I just noticed today. How could I not have noticed it in the 15 years I've been here? I don't know. Anyway, I ran out the door.

Finally! Freash air. Sunlight. Grass. Trees. I missed it all. I didn't have much time to just stand around and enjoy it though since I had to run. I have to run as far away as I can get. I don't even know where I am. As I was running through the forest, I managed to make it to a clearing. I kept running from there in a straight line only to be brought back to the clearing. Shoot! It's the cursed forest. Well, enchanted forest is the proper term. Eventually, after wandering for hours and trying different paths, I found Hyria's house.

Hyria is a witch friend of mine. If she knew it was me here, I'm sure she'd let me through the forest. I just stood outside the house. "Hyria!" I called. She came out of her house. "Y/n! What brings you here? I haven't seen you in forever." Hyria asked. "I was kidnapped by someone who lives close to your forest. I was locked up for 15 years. I need to get past your forest." I explained. "Of course! I'll let you through. You haven't changed in the 18 years since I last saw you." She said.

Even before I was kidnapped, I hadn't come to visit Hyria for 3 years. She gave me a guide fairy and it lead me out of the forest. It brought me to the ruins of a village. In the ruins, I noticed a few people walking. One was a male with light brown hair and blue eyes, one was a female with blue hair and blue eyes, one was a female with black hair and reddish brown eyes and the other looked exactly like......... LORD AARON!?!?!?!? He doesn't look any different. How? Last time I checked, he was a mortal.
