When I was seven, my mom bought a lottery ticket in our local supermarket and to our surprise, she won the 540 million dollars. My dad quit his job by forgetting all about it until his boss called him a week later, and my father cussed him out. Life was great at the time. I got to leave my boring school and travel around the world with my parents in the most luxurious and fine way possible. We went from poor and broke to high class and wealthy. I never needed friends because I replaced them with money, but I always yearned for an exciting and romantic adventure.

Eleven years later, I turned eighteen and I graduated from my mom's home schooling.
"Sade Brumagin, darling, I never thought this day would come," my father teared up as we celebrated my graduation in our beach house located in Seychelles. I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah dad whatever. What's my reward?" I crossed my arms. Being poor for the first seven years of your life and suddenly becoming a millionare makes ones' expectations higher.

"Sade, honey, your father and I were planning on getting you your own yacht, but we decided to give you something even better," My mom gleamed at me as she pulled out an envelope from behind her.

I immediately snatched it from her hands and tried to open it, but stopped. I had to put this on my youtube channel!

"MOM, GRAB THE CAMERA, AND DAD, BRING ME A MIRROR WITH MY ACCESSORIES." I yelled at my parents urgently. Both smiled at me and called our servants.

Grabbing the mirror from the servant, I straightened my beach waved, long strawberry blonde hair. A long time ago, it was brown but by the age of nine I got sick of it and dyed it a Cinderella color. I, of course, am a true Cinderella role model because I have lived through poverty and now I'm beautiful and rich.

"Alright mom, you better film this correctly. Yup, right there- no, a bit to the left- dammit DAD, YOU'RE MESSING UP MY LIGHTING, okay that's good, five, four, three, two, one-" I put on my brightest smile and waved at the camera as my mom mouthed "action."

"Hey guys! It's me, Sade Brumagangstaa, also known as Sade Heather Brumagin by my closest and dearest friends," I winked to my side, looking at a stack of hundred dollar bills.

"Today is my graduation day! Yayy!" I motioned for my parents to clap. "Anyways, I got this envelope gift today from my mom, love you mommy, and am about to open it. Apparently, it's better than a yacht," I faked a giggle.

"Let's see what's in it, who wants to see what's in it? I know I do!" Ripping the envelope up, I reached for its contents.

It was a one way plane ticket to Germany.

"MOM, TURN OFF THE CAMERA. I AM NOT ABOUT TO SHOW MY YOUTUBERS SOMETHING SO EMBARRASSING!!" I screamed at her, trying to hold back tears. Why would my parents think this lousy, first-class ticket with all the comforts, is better than a yacht??

"Listen, Sade-" My father began to speak.

"YOU RUINED THIS DAY FOR ME! HOW COULD YOU GUYS BE SO SELFISH AND MEAN?? WE'VE ALREADY BEEN TO GERMANY BEFORE, WHY WOULD I WANNA GO BACK? IT'S NOT EVEN IN MY TOP TEN COUNTRY LIST! THIS IS LIKE GETTING A PLANE TICKET TO HELL!!" My throat hurt with all of my yelling.

"SADE HEATHER BRUMAGIN, ENOUGH WITH THE YELLING," my mother suddenly snapped. The last time she had shouted at me like this was when we were poor.

"Listen, you spoiled rat, your father and I have wasted our money almost to the point where we have less than ten million dollars left. We want to save it up and use it wisely for the rest of our lives, so this means you'll have to educate yourself."

I could not believe my ears.

"So you're planning on throwing me away?" I looked at them, dissapointed.

"We're planning on disciplining you, Jade, and maybe, just maybe, you'll come back more humble and intellegent."

And with that, my new life started.
