JIN'S POV

It's been 15 minutes... I think I overcooked the bacon...should I do it all over again? will I have time left? not to mention that he is getting impatient...

"oh man, what do I do?" he mumbled to himself.

I'll make it all over again...

Jin tore open another packet of bacon and set it to fry. hmm...willI be alright? I don't think I can do this...no no no...think positive Jin.

*slap slap slap*

Jin slapped himself on both the cheeks gently to get out of the negative thoughts he was having.

NAMJOON'S POV

well well well...this looks interesting...he messed up with the bacon, he fried it too much, he has about 10 minutes left...will he be able to make it? I wonder..this much more fun than I had imagined...

*snicker*

at least I can see that he doesn't give up and is determined to complete it...but that doesn't satisfy the customer who is paying for the quality of food...he has to make it perfect, even if the flavour shifts even a bit, it changes the dish altogether. you have to be careful about the amount of heat required for frying the bacon as well...hmmm

.

.

.

After 30 minutes.

"TIME'S UP!!"

what? already? umm...i wonder if it came out good... I still feel that I might have overcooked the bacon. Well, what is done is done... I can't change it right now..huh!

Jin served the Bologna Sandwich to Namjoon on a plate and garnished it a bit of coriander.

Well, his presentation is not bad at all, I would have given him 10/10 if this was a test of getting into the restaurant but right now I need to focus on the cooking and flavour!

"This isn't half bad, as you know you overdid the bacon and not to mention that the cheese is not melted properly...hmm, for you to get this far is amazing, I should say your presentation really nice, now then, for the taste..."

*bite*

*chew*

well, the taste is...fine but something is missing, hmmm! Seriously, he left the olives out?

Namjoon looked at Jin with dissatisfied eyes and then jin knew exactly why he was looked in that way.

"I'm sorry sir but we didn't get the supply for olives today so I didn't know what to do"

"fine, but, tell me what would you do someday if you were to someday make this for the costumer, and you didn't have any olives...what would you have done?"

"First of all, I wouldn't have made this mistake and I would have kept some extra as an emergency purpose use, and used it when needed "

"I like your answer, tell me would you like to work in ALINEA?"

"I'm really happy for the offer but I'm sorry I would like to decline"

"It's ok I'll pay you well if that's what's wrong..."

"It's not about that, I would like to take a proper test for getting in and not through some random proving myself cooking contest like right now"

"Is'nt a test also a way of proving yourself? if that is the case then you can take this..."

"I DON'T WANT IT"

"umm....fine...btw are you sure you don't want it? I mean it is an application for entering the test"

*hahaha*

"Hey, that's not fair...my mistake..."

"here"

"thank you, sir!"

"no prob...but you have to pass it!!"

"am I that good of a chef?"

"not because of that, your hard working which is really hard come by these days"

"oh, I see..."
