Evelyn Harpers Point of view*

I remember days where all I did was sit infront of the TV while my dad worked and my mom cleaned the house.

I remember every once in a while she would go to her room and tell me she'd be right back and not to come in.. little did I know what she was actually ruining our lives..

I'm snapped out of my memories when my cousin Danny walks in my room. Not even bothering to knock

"Wow, for all you know I could've been getting dressed." I say, he shrugs "your coming to a party with me tonight." He exclaims trying to make it sound fun,

"It's one of those parties isn't it?" I ask quietly already knowing the answer "yes its one of those parties." He says clearly mocking me

"You havent left the house all summer. C'mon Evelyn, please?" He begs giving me the puppy dog eyes

"Whatever." I say turning back to look out the window

"Oh, and we leave in an hour." He says trying to get a reaction out of me

"Okay, well I'll see you in an hour." I say flatly "your such a pain in the ass, your so.. Emotion less! C'mon have some fun loosen up Eve!" He exclaims

"Sounds like fun, but no thanks." I say turning back towards my video games, suddenly the screen turns black.

I scream in frustration and turn towards danny to see him trying not to laugh, "you dick! I was on the last fucking level! And now I have to start back at level twenty!" I yell

He looks somewhat guilty.. and then I burst out laughing at his guilty expression..

"Wow.. I'm disappointed in you Danny." I say in between my laughter. "I'm not that dumb.. I just saved when you came in so dont worry," I say with a smile

"I thought you where serious!! I thought I was gonna die today!!" He says laughing

I shrug. "Now get out so I can get ready and then go to the party and then come home drunk as fuck and spend the rest of the night playing video games till I pass out." I smile

He rolls his eyes and leaves, leaving me with no clue how to dress for this party..

"I'm not a fashionista.. how the fuck am I supposed to do this?" I mumble quietly

After 20 minutes of staring at my clothes I decide on a cute white crop top that says "normal is boring"
Cute camo ripped jeans, and some black combat boots with Rose's on it. Then I realised it might be cold and grab one of my favorite holsters sweatshirts

I walk out of my room with my phone and purse and sit on the couch to wait for Danny

After 5 more minutes he comes down "wow you look somewhat ready for a party, your driving" I sigh and take the keys for my pickup truck and walk outside him behind me

I jump into the truck, both literally and metaphorically, me being 5'4 it's a bit of a jump

I wait for Danny to remember how to get into my truck before listening to him yell at me to "slow down" and to "stop or we're gonna go to jail!" Or "Dont mess with the radio and drive! It's just as bad as texting!"

When we finally get to the party I'm somewhat suprised to see basically no one there "Danny?-" I'm cut off by the slamming of his door

I get out after locking my truck and run after him
