I never thought I would be happy to go to math class. But today was a day full of surprises.Oh congruency my old friend!

The only problem was that, at the very front of the class, was Jake. His dark hair was falling over his perfectly, and the light flooding in from the windows made him look like an angel fallen from heaven. God she loved him! Why can't her life be easy!? Why did Noel have to get out of prison and track me down!?
Having his filthy hands on me at break made my skin crawl!
"Mackenzie? Mackenzie are you listening?"
The deep voice of my math teacher pulled me from my deep thoughts.
"She's probably too busy daydreaming about her new boyfriend!" Jakes best friend, Lucas, spat the words so horribly, I had to fight the tears that threatened to escape my eyes.
Just when I went to reply to him, the most beautiful voice interrupted. A voice so familiar and welcome that I had to fight to stay upright.
"Dude, lay off her. I'm sure she has a reason to her decision and she will talk about it when she feels ready. So drop it!"
Even though I was so happy and great full towards Jake for what he said, it was diminished by the skin crawling feeling if Noel's eyes in the back of my head.
"Watch it." He said. Anger in his voice.
"I wasn't trying to over step. I was just saying." Jake never liked conflict and would always try his hardest to stay out of it. Kind of ironic that he fell in love with someone who conflict follows her wherever she goes.
It was Trina who then responded. "Even if he was, it wouldn't matter. I mean, the only reason she's dating you is because you blackmailed her into doing it!" Trina continued, her anger dangerously close to the surface. "And by the angel, if you touch one measly hair on her head, I won't hesitate to cut you into pieces and then come after your family!"
"Trina? What are you talking about?" Pain and anger was shimmering in Jakes eyes.
Trina! Done say anything! I beg of you!
Unfortunately I couldn't say any of the words that formed on my lips. If I did, then it would put everyone I cared about in danger. All I could do was keep my head down and pray to whatever god was there to listen, that her best friend would know that she couldn't say a word!
"Mackenzie will tell you when the time comes, just like you said."
It was at that moment that Jake focused pleading and confused eyes right onto mine. I couldn't say anything even if I wanted to, as my mouth filled with blood. His confusion soon turned to horror and concern. The blood filled on to my math book as Noel removed the blade from my spin and then darkness consumed me.
