"Nikolai Mikaelson, get your ass up." Caroline rips the covers off the youngest male Mikaelson. "Before I pour vervain water all over you."
"Alright alright. I'm up." He sticks his bottom lip out in a pout when she points to the bathroom. "Do we have to go to that dreadful high school?"
"Yes!" The blonde vampire sighs dramatically. "High school is an important life experience and you need to experience it at least once in your life."
"But it's soo boring." Kol stuffs himself back under the covers and it's not long before he hears a whoosh. "Oh shit." He barely makes it out of the bed before it's covered in water, some stinging his skin. "You were serious."
"Of course I was serious. Now." She shoves him towards the bathroom. "You better be downstairs in 20 minutes or I'm showing everyone the picture."
"You wouldn't." She makes a show of pulling out her phone and selecting all of the schools contacts, her finger hovering over send. "Fine you win."

"Asshole. Forgot to stock up on B+." Caroline sped up to Rebekah's room rifling through her fridge, eventually going through everyone's room. "How does no one have any?" You still haven't checked Klaus' room Caroline. "He wouldn't mind would he? I mean he isn't even here."
"Oh what the hell." She's rifling through the fridge when she hears the bathroom door open, causing her to freeze in place. When she can finally move she turns around and no words come out. Caroline had never met the famous Mikaelson and he was the hottest guy she had ever seen. Dirty blonde curls smoothed down by water, toned chest, muscles, tattoos, and he was in a towel. "Um- um- um-."
"Are you unable to speak?" She shook her head. "Then I suggest you speak quickly because I'm in a terrible mood."
"I- I didn't even know you were here. Sorry for going through your fridge."She awkwardly twists her daylight ring around her finger. "It's just.. no one else had my favorite blood type and I was curious if you did."
"What is it then?" He walks over the fridge and pulls it open, turning to look back at her.
"B+." Klaus pulls a couple of blood bags out and hands them to her. "Thanks. I'm Caroline by the way."
"Yes my brother's friend." He walks over to the closet emerging a few moments later in jeans, a Henley, and a pair of black boots. "Are you just going to stand there all day?"
"Oh sorry." She quickly rushes out of his room to Kols', colliding with him in the doorway.
"Slow down Care Bear. What's got you all jumbled up?" Caroline pushes past him and shoves the blood bags into her purse. "Caroline."
"It's nothing. I'm fine." She put the strap on her shoulder and looks back up at her best friend. "Let's go."
"Okay.." He grabs his backpack off of desk chair and follows the frazzled blonde outside. "You're not going to tell me what's wrong?"
"I said I'm fine Kol. Leave it at that." The first part of the drive to the school was silent and suffocating with tension and awkwardness. "Are you going to ask Bonnie out?"
"What?" The question had caught him off guard, causing him to lose his train of thought.
"Come on! Everyone knows you like her. I mean, it's obvious." The blonde watches as Kol tries to come up with an excuse. "Awe Kol."
"She wouldn't even go out if me if I asked." The high school looms over them as Caroline pulls into a parking spot.
"I bet you $10 she will."
"Fine." He grabs his bag out of the backseat and gets out. "But when you lose you have to tell me what was bothering you this morning."
"Deal." They shake hands and walk into school together.

"Will you go on a date with me, Bonnie Bennett?" Bonnie takes the flowers from his hand, her mouth hanging open in awe.
"I guess you'll have to find out." She walks away and Kol turns to Caroline as the hallway empties out.
"Um I guess we both lost." Kol fishes 10 bucks out of his pocket and hands it to the blonde. "Tell me."
"I said I was fine Kol." Caroline turns to leave but the Mikaelson speeds in front of her. "Move."
"Caroline you tell me everything and I can tell something is wrong so spill." Caroline gave in, explaining everything that had happened that morning. "You saw my brother naked?!"
"He had a towel on." She crosses her arms over her chest. "I'm surprised he didn't try to kill me or something. All the stories I've heard about him."
"I told him that if he tried to kill you I would sic Rebekah on him." The blonde vampire giggles under her breath.
"Wait, you knew he was there?" Kol tries to hide his smile but she catches it. "Nikolai Mikaelson!"
"I didn't think you would care, let alone go into his room." The blonde punches his arm jokingly as she feels a presence behind her.
"Tyler." Caroline forces herself not to cry as Kol stands next to her in a protective stance. "What do you want?"
"Come on Care. Just admit that you need me." He went to grab her arm but Kol pushes it away. "You're nothing without me."
"She is so much better without your cheating ass." Kol pushes Tyler against the lockers and the hybrid lets a growl escape his lips. "Lay off!"
"She can speak for herself Mikaelson." The blonde vampire decides that she has had enough of this.
"Give up Tyler. We." She gestures between the two of them. "Are done."
"Whatever." He shrugs Kol's hand off of his shoulder and stomps off, obviously pissed that he hadn't gotten what he wanted.
"Good riddance." Kol pats Caroline on the back as a smile spreads across her face. "I'm proud of you."
"I'm proud of me." She grabs her books out of her locker and stuffs them in her bag. "Let's go."
