"I promise I'll live well, dad. Don't worry." I said, reassuring the old man on the other line so he wouldn't be bombarding me with the phone calls every fucking hour just to ask me whether everything's alright. I swear this has been the 4th time he called in a day today. I get that he's probably worried sick about me having to live far away from home for the first time in my life. Since I lived over with only my dad, he's turning into a very protective father. It's annoying sometimes, but I understand why he'd do anything to protect me. Because I'm the only one he has.

"Yeah they arrived this evening already, I'm sorry for not telling earlier. I was busy with unpacking things up 'cuz dad, you're literally packing everything including my plushies." I rolled my eyes to the colorful plushies laid on my new bed. Questioning why on earth did he have to do include them on my package.

"Everything's fine now. I'm gonna start working tomorrow." I leaned on the couch near my bed, bringing one of my favorite plushies on my lap. "Thanks for everything, dad."

This afternoon, after I finished with my pre-training orientation and finally signing a contract in the company, I made a call to my dad to send my things over to my new place here in Seoul. Saying sorry that I need to move over so suddenly like this.

"I'll visit you often when I have my free time later. Love you, dad. Bye!" I let my phone stay on my ear longer so I could hear him hung up first before I did. I stretched my head back, staring up at the ceiling of my newly decorated bedroom. Before my stomach made a loud sound of growling. I looked down at it, before getting my ass out of the room to get some food.

I let myself wander around the neighborhood, letting my eyes be familiar with the new environment before I bumped into a stranger, making me stumbled back. "God I'm sorry, are you okay?" He wore a dress pants, along with a white long-sleeve shirt and a black baseball cap, covering his face.

"I'm the one who you should ask you that. Are you okay? I hit you pretty hard, sorry." He had his eyes scanned for any injury I might be getting after bumping into him pretty hard.

"Yeah, I'm okay," I said, finally looking up and see his face. He looked somewhat familiar with that perfect visual, "Oh? Wait, youre Taehyung right?" His eyes which was previously looking so worried now turned into sparkly as he seemed to recognize me as well.

"Jisoo?" I didn't expect him to even remember my name right away. "Lee Jisoo, right?"

"Yes, I am. I see you're fast at remembering someone's name." He laughed and clapping his hands together, feeling proud of himself. "We didn't have a proper introduction this afternoon, I thought you wouldn't remember me."

"Well, you're in the family now how could I be so ignorance."

"Family?"

"You know, Bang Sihyuk's family." I made an O face, nodding to his words.

"What are you doing here, anyway? Isn't it too risky for you? Your fans might recognize you walking around here." I asked, genuinely worrying about his safety for casually walking in the open without a bodyguard or some sort. He must have been knowing how wild his fangirls could be when they know that it's Kim Taehyung of BTS they're bumping into.

"I was just about to go grab some snacks for the members. They're whinning nonstoply, very annoying, so I have to do something to make them shut up." He calmly explained, "How about you though?" He turned to me, waiting for my answer before he heard the growling sound coming from my stomach. Shit. Not in front of him, you moron!

He laughed at that. My face turned red from embarrassment. "I guess that answered the question you're throwing at me,"

"You're adorable, Jisoo." He casually stating in between his laughter. What's the adorable thing about hearing the sound of a growling stomach?

"Ugh, okay I think I really need to go now. You heard it yourself just now." I said as I excused myself, ready to leave first.

"Oh wait, Jisoo." His eyes showed something uncertain, but he spoke it out anyway. "Eat with us."

"What?! No! I mean not now, I'm just gon-" Excuse me? Did he just ask me to eat with his members? Including Yoongi? That would not gonna happen even if he pleaded me to. I don't want to look like an awkward chicken to be around them. Besides, I'd still need to avoid contacts with Yoongi. That would be very troublesome.

"Why not?" He threw a confused look, he might be thinking that my answer was kinda rude. Since they're considered as my senior in my new work place and I just refused his offer to eat with them in a very unpleasant way.

"Because I'd prefer to-" I was about to blurt out shitty excuses before Taehyung cut me off again. Persistant to bring me over to eat with his members.

"Unfortunately, I don't accept excuses." He grabbed my wrist when I clearly not ready to. I tried to protest, only to get his grip tighter around my wrist.

"Don't worry, they are nice kids. They won't do anything to a new worker in the company I promise."

He kept dragging me to somewhere I have no clue about until we both stopped in front of a food tent. I stared the place for few seconds and then to Taehyung. "I thought worldwide celebrities don't eat foods like this." I mumbled to myself, but of course he heard it too.

"They have the best tteokbokki in town. Come on!" I stared down at his hand still holding my hand, when it's unnecessary anymore since I got no plan to flee anyway.

"Taehyung?" He looked down at me while I kept my eyes on his hand that kept on holding mine. He let go quickly, mustering an apology with a grin in his face. So freaking cute.

I looked at him as he made his orders to the old lady behind the counter. I told him I'd eat whatever he choose, as long as my hunger satisfied. He was sure ordering an incredible amount of foods, making my jaw dropped to see the plastic bags he's difficultly holding.

"I thought you're just going to get them snacks." My mouth still open, snatching some of the plastic bags he's holding, trying to help.

"These are all snacks for them," He declared, giving some of the plastic bags to me. "Come on, let's feed these puppies."

And with that, I ended up following him to the building to eat with them. It's alright Jisoo, Yoongi might be inside his studio, unbothered. Just relax and eat the damn foods then leave.
