He's going to freak out, losing my job so fast. It wasn't my fault... Everything with be fine. It won't be hard finding a new job. It's freaking New York!
Sighing as I clear my head from the nonsense I walk up the steps, ready to face him. Grabbing the doorknob, twist ing it and pushing it open slowly and removing my shoes. "I'm home Xavier!" Yelling some, knowing he's downstairs working like always.
Waiting a few minutes hoping to hear him reply I sigh and look outside. His car is here.. Closing the door softly, walking towards our room and push the door open. "Hey Xavier you-"
Looking out onto the bed he's bleeding with his neck sliced open.
"Xavier!" What happened to him? Who could've done this to him? Why would anyone hurt him..
Running frantically to his side I put my hand on his neck, checking quickly, hoping for a pulse.

Grabbing my phone I type emergency, quickly pulling in 9-1-1.
"Hello."
Why don't they sound more assuring!
"My boyfriend is home on our bed bleeding from the neck please hurry and help!" I yell at the phone. Shaking from the shock kicking in.
"Please calm down and take a few breaths. Tell us where you are and your name so we can help." I hear her saying it quick knowing that it is serious. At least she cares.
"8453 harrisbear rd. 4762 My name is Ruby Zen." I shake more looking at my boyfriend. Oh Xavier..
Tears running down my face fast. The lady telling me they are coming is blurring as I shake more.
If only I was home... If only I stayed home. But there's no time to cry!
Running out if my room I fumble in my cabinet getting a clean rag and getting it damp. Crap, crap... I think this is right. Yeah! Running back to our bedroom and slipping some on our wooden floor. Leaning over him, putting the rag over his neck, applying pressure on it.
Screeching loudly as I hear the door being cracked open.
"Police! Where is Ruby Zen!" I shake some hearing them running everywhere.
My heart skips a beat when I see a officer come over to me with a sad look in his eyes.
"Ma'am please step away, we can handle it from here." He looks at me with sincere eyes.
I nod slowly and get up shakily. my head spinning.
Watching them pick him up gently as a gurney comes in, putting him on it and rolling him out fast.
The same officer looks at me. "Ma'am you don't look well come with us please." My eyes look at him and smile softly as my eyes dizzy out. Darkness.
~Nicholas POV~
The poor girl.. Sighing as I shake my head picking her up softly, taking her out to the ambulance.
"Nicholas what is this passed out women doing here? I know you know better than this." I look up to see Joseph looking down at me.
"I know Joseph I'm not a dumbass. She's the one who called I have to bring her with. She passed out idiot."
He shakes his head as the doors close. Me, Joseph, The hurt man, and Ruby Zen in the back with the others in the front.
The drive is Long and annoying as the sirens of the ambulance blast out As we drive to the hospital.
"Hey Nick how's your new girlfriend doing?" I glare at Joseph. Why does he have to say things at the worse times.
"God dammit Joseph, can't you not talk about my bitches for one second."
I sigh annoyed. It's not his damn business on what I do with my chicks. He has to annoy the crap out of me.
"But they are perfect with your dick!" Joseph blurts out laughing as I shake my head, laughing too.
I can't help but laugh!
The ambulance finally stops. We are here.
The doors of the ambulance open as they take out the man, Joseph waves as he goes with them. He has to leave me with the chick.
