Why does eveything happen to me (chpt.5)

Kay's POV
It's two days later... Me and Khal have been laying around for the last day and a half but now I really need to find a job. I planned to find a job and then an apartment. But I had to get the apartment first or I'm sure someone would've taken it. So me and posy planned to go job hunting. I have a bachelors degree in business so I should have no problem finding a job in a firm. Well I hope it won't.
I got up from the couch rally slowly. Careful not to wake up Khal and took a shower and slipped on a appropriate Job hunting dress. It was yellow with white stripes and was off the shoulders.

I went back to the living room, left a note on the table, kissed Khal bye and went to wait outside for posy.
    "Hey popo" I said it seemed like I haven't seen her in forever. Looking cute as ever.

      "Hola my lil friend" she said beaming.
    I then beginning telling her about what happened the other day up to now.
       "Why didn't you call me" she asked. "I'm your best friend you have to tell me stuff like this when it happens.
   "I'm sorry I was already kinda lost in my head and Khal was there so I forgot." I turned around to her and she looked sad quickly I said "But because I spent so much time with Khal how about we stay together and since we live in the same building we can run back and forth."
She smiled at my solution and quickly started talking about what all we could do tonight.
          Before she went any further I stopped her and looked dead in her face because this is serious. "I just used my last food stamp so unless you want to eat cheese on grapes you are going to"
      "Shut up" posy said "I always pay anyways so it's ok but the most you're getting is your favorite chips because I'm about broke too." We made a deal and we started hunting.
We went to several different firms and they didn't have any open positions. Still no luck. Every place I went to give an interview said they same thing " Thank you we'll be in touch." Which means we do appreciate you for coming but we don't ever want to see you again 🙃.
     So I had one last interview. We were waiting outside when a girl ran out crying.. what in the world?
   "Whoa she ran out crying I'm sure this place will be tough. So why even bother let's go" she said looking tired.
   "I need a job so I'll just stop here for a second you can go ahead." She looked at me unsure. "You can go it's fine." So she left and I went in.
     Time skip***
   40-45mins they've had me waiting. There must be a really long application list. Finally they called my name and I went to the room feeling nervous and hopeful as I saw all the disappointed faces.
  "Hey come in" The random business lady started talking to me but somewhat rudely.
But before I had the chance to sit down I saw a face. I know it was a boy and he looked familiar but I shook it off and got back to my interview.
   20mins later we're finishing up and then she says "thank you we'll be in touch." I knew what that meant and was stumped. I though it went really well but apparently not. I was ready to leave and go to my brand new apartment eating ice cream with posy when I heard a voice "well well" I froze.

   Short I know but that's because it's a two parter😘As soon as I finish this one i will work on chapter 6🙃 comment and like...
