As Alex Mercer jumps over the wall, the Blackwatch Soldiers start to call for reinforcements to capture Mercer. However, when Mercer ran out onto the road, instead of seeing a entite army of Blackwatch Soldier, he saw a Attack Helicopter right in front of him. Even though there were many cars on the road he still decided to run away forcing the helicopters to chase after, since Mercer had the Virus, he was able to run any normal human could and was faster than a normal car.
Mercer kept running until he decided to climb the buildings to make it a lot harder for the Helicopter to get him up til the point where he got up to the roof and had nowhere else to go, two more Attack Helicopters showed up and announced for him to stay down and let himself be captured, but he refused and wanted to destroy the helicopters
One of the Attack Helicopters launched a missle at him, and still being slighty sick. Mercer wasn't able to dodge and got him. However, Mercer got up and carried a Generator to throw it at the helicopter. The generator hit the helicopter and it severely damaged the helicopter causing it to explode.
For the other two helicopters, Mercer pounced at the helicopter and started to punch glass and pulling the pilot out, he managed to get the pilot out so he jumped onto the other helicopter and did the same thing. He managed to 'Destroy' all three helicopters and he ran away to make sure that the Blackwatch Troops wouldn't find him.
