Joining Detectives

Few hours later after boarding the train, Elle finally arrived. He got off the train and looked around. He went for a walk in the Tokyo town. After strolling for a while, he saw some group of teens were looking for something or someone.

            “I know them” said Elle to himself.

            “they’re the old man’s detective student” said Elle about Dane’s student. In the end, Elle followed them.

That night, at Dane mansion,

            Dane and Elle were having dinner together. Dane’s assistant, Nanami and Naruyami were standing behind them.

            “Elle, why are you here?” asked Dane.

            “no reason” answered Elle short.

            “I know. You want to investigate about the same cases that my student have, right?” said Dane. Elle kept silent.

            “don’t, Elle” Dane said again. Elle stopped eating and looked at his grandfather.  

            “I don’t understand you. Before, you asked me to become your successor. Now, you’re asking me to stay away from the investigations?” Elle was pissed off by his grandfather’s attitude.

            “recently, we’re didn’t even agree at the same thing anymore” said Elle again.

            “it is dangerous, Elle. You know, I cared about you like you’re my own” said Dane again. The middle-age guy that used the wheelchair speaks politely to Elle. he really care about Elle.

            “I know. But, this is my decision. You can’t stop me now” said Elle and continue eating.

            “no you can’t! I forbid you to involve in this! Understand!?” said Dane while raising his voice. Elle was shocked.

            “you know what, I’ll decide my future on my own” Elle smashed down his spoon and fork and stood up.

            “I’m full” he said and left. Dane sighed.

            “Dane-sama?” Nanami went near Dane.

            “I’m fine. You just take care of the Tantei students. Naruyami, you take care of Elle, okay” ordered Dane to two his assistants.

Next day,

Elle followed the Tantei students to investigate about their cases. He followed them thoroughly until the time the students manage to solve the mystery. During the night, Elle followed the students to confront the criminal at a road tunnel.

            When the students were confronting the criminal, Elle hid himself behind the concrete pole nearby.

            “their reasoning was very good” said Elle to himself.

            After the students made their reasoning, the women who was the criminal tried to run away while turning back slowly. Elle stood in front of the women and she stopped.

            “you’re that kid from before” said the women.

            “nice meeting you again, teacher” said Elle.

            “so, you were investigating me at that time?” asked the women. Elle looked at somewhere else.

            “it’s no use. Don’t try to run away, teacher. The police are going to arrive in a few seconds” said Elle.
