This was the last place that Sharon wanted to be today, stuck in meetings for an upcoming trial. Carefully pulling out her phone she saw several texts from her kids to herself and Andy telling them happy anniversary. She had pretty much zoned out at this point from the conversation. They were moving off topic and she hoped it was going to end soon. Locking her phone she looked back up at the group.
"It's your wedding anniversary today Sharon isn't it?" Carol, a lawyer friend asked.
"It is, officially one year." She laughed.
"Feels like yesterday" Andrea chimed in.
"Well happy anniversary, I think we're good here. I'll send out an e-mail on topics and arguments for the trial Monday." Carol added collecting her papers.
"Sounds good," Sharon said standing up.
"You and Andy have any plans tonight?" Andrea asked as they got ready to leave.
"We're going to Serve" Sharon smiled.
"Of course, you two need to find somewhere new" She laughed.
"We only go for special occasions. And this is special."
"I saw Jack today, I should have told him congratulations on you being married." Carol said.
Sharon laughed, "He actually texted me and told me happy anniversary. I have to say I was surprised."
Andrea's eyes widened.
"I should get going" Sharon said. "I'll talk to you both tomorrow." She added before grabbing her bag and walking out.
Ridding the elevator down she leaned against the wall shooting a text that she was leaving to Andy.
'Okay, I just got home. See you in a little bit.' He replied.
She smiled, this last year had been the best she had experienced. Andy was so incredibly loving and kind. It made her feel safe. It didn't take her long to get home and she walked in the front door seeing Andy just inside, dressed in a suit and tie. Impressed she smiled.
"Hey there handsome" She smiled.
He turned smiling at her. "Hi, I got you these." He said handing her a bouquet of flowers.
"Andy, they're beautiful" She beamed kissing him softly.
"For a beautiful woman" He smiled.
"Let me get changed and we can go."
"Can I help you with that?" He groaned biting at her ear playfully, grabbing her ass.
She giggled looking at him. "Someone's getting ahead of himself. And you haven't even seen what I'm wearing tonight." She smirked.
"Nothing I hope" he smirked as she turned to go into the bedroom and change.
"I'll be out in ten minutes" She called.
She heard him laugh from the other room and smiled to herself. Getting changed into a new blue dress she had gotten she fixed her make-up and went to the living room.
"Wow" Andy breathed when he saw her. She smiled spinning around slowly with a soft laugh.
"Nothing is for later" She said as he grabbed her up in his arms.
"Mmm, might as well take me to dinner then before I get to worked up Mrs. Flynn."
Laughing she followed him to the front door. She glanced down at her hand and her wedding ring smiling softly. Reaching out she grabbed his arm kissing his shoulder blade. He turned looking at her, eyebrow raised. She kissed his lips quickly, giving him a gentle smile. Yeah, she would never get over being this happy.
