"You're really digging hard to solve this case, huh?"
"Of course, Elle. My dream is to be a crime investigator, remember?"
"If you say so, calcu-guy. You can have my little support."
I bantered but looks like he's serious to solve this.
"Can I continue my theory now, Elle? You really need to hear this."
"Go ahead, I'm listening."
"Using my virile perspective..." then he winked and grinned.
Stop that Caleb, you're being so adorable in that smile.
"Stop that Caleb, you're NOT cute."
I giggled and he laughed with me.
"Okay, let's pause the fun for a while and let me listen to the theory of yours, Caleb. Go ahead."
"So Deck got humiliated by what his teammates had said. He didn't want to engage in the pre-marital s-ex because he respects you deeply. But the conflict here is he made a promise to the team and when we guys make a promise, we tend to flip the whole world just to make it happen."
"I know right. Weird guys are weird guys. What now?"
"There's something missing. A connection or link on the day his friends teased him and on the day Deck killed himself. And that's what we need to find out."
