chapter 11

i woke up to the harsh sound of my phone going off. chanting some delightful curses i tried to reach harder for my phone which was on the table besides the bed.my whole body was at the most corner of the bed until i couldn't go any more further and fell flat on the hard floor. ouch!!that hurt...cursing some more i found my phone and answered it without looking at the caller ID. who could it be so early in the morning? whoever it is he/she is dead if whatever he/she called for isn't important!

    “whoever this is it better be important or ill shoot the living hell out of you!!"i scream into the phone

   “whow girl cool it...its amber"

   “oh...hey amb..sorry bout that"i say still annoyed at her for calling this early and disturbing me from my sound sleep.“were you still sleeping kat?"she asks as i manage to get up from the floor. i am still in kayla's room. memory of yesterday's movie night with Kayla comes flashing through my mind.i look over at  Kayla whose still in deep sleep.

    “hello kat? are you even listening to me?" .....uhh not really

   “yea..."i said having no idea what she was talking about. my voice sounded drowsy even to me.“but why did you call me soo early in the morning amb" i whined

    “early??girl you were so not listening to me! which part of 9:00 is early to you!we have class in less than half an hour.and im already here to pick you up...so you better get your arse down here!"she screams into the phone and i groan...wait did she just say 9:00!...oh shit! im gonna  miss my first class of the day!!

     “ill be down in a minute"i said as i hung up.i rushed off to my room and  started with brushing my teeth,i put on some new cloths and im ready to go.just when i was about to leave my room i spotted something on the chair.

    Harry's jacket!i totally forgot to return it to him yesterday...but if i take it with me now amber well bombard me with questions..

    ...i quickly grabbed my duffle bag and ran downstairs.

    “morning honey...come have your breakfast"my mom said from the kitchen when she saw me rushing.“mom im already late.i cant have breakfast right now...ill have something at school"i say,opening the front door and saying a quick bye.

    i spotted Amber's black Mercedes in our driveway. The car looked so breath takingly sexy in our driveway that for a minute i forgot who it was waiting for.

   yea she was pretty darn rich.amber got the car for her birthday. A gift from her dad. and i was the first person who she had taken on a ride. and it was crazy fun might i tell you.

    and yea she works in the cafe with me just because she wants to not that she needs to.if in case you were wondering...

    i wave at her and get into the car.“good morning amby"i smile

   “morning kat" she starts the engine.“so we have work after school today remember...if you miss it then you might seriously get fired"she says staring  straight ahead.

   “sweet! thanks for the boost.."i said sarcastically.

  “and dont get yourself caught up in detention again hon"she raised an eyebrow.

   i gave a nervous giggle but said nothing. if she finds out i skipped detention and went out with harry-gees that sounds weird even to me-she's gonna go insane.and i bet she'll have thousands of questions to ask and right now I'm in no mood of answering any. so keeping my mouth shut for now seems like a good idea.

    in just a few minutes we reach school. she parked the car in her usual spot and i got out of the car putting my bag over my shoulder.i pause as i see someone walking towards the car.....or me?
