"Please...Just this once...Help me out will you?" William begged.

"Why..? You already seemed experienced..?" I sighed.

"I'm not," William answered immediately.

I stared at him blankly. What a liar. I thought. I mean, his looks are flawless. His body is well built and he's got a nice voice I suppose.

"Mike, I'm serious." William looked at me straight in the eyes.

I sighed loudly and exaggeratedly, "Fine, sure, whatever." I shrugged after.

William's face lit up.

"Thanks."

-------------------------------------------------

Before that..

A close friend, I suppose you could say. Well, I have a MASSIVE crush on him. I'm not really openly gay or anything. Actually, I'm not even gay. I take it all back. I don't have a crush on him. I just simply admire his face.

I walked down the hallways of my university. Looking for someone to talk to since William, my handsome friend was busy with something that I don't think is really even business.

"Hey! Mike!" A different friend of mines called out.

I swiped my head around to look toward the direction the voice came from. My friend Lyle came running to me with a girl. When he reached my side he was breathing really hard but laughing.

"Okay, so! I found this girl. She is interested in finding a boyfriend. Isn't that a coincidence?" Lyle wiggled his eyebrows at me.

I snorted, "Hey, you stupid boy, Who in the world ever said that I was looking for a date?"

"What? I thought you were?" Lyle scratched the back of his head laughing awkwardly.

He shook his hand shooing the girl away silently. I faced forward but my eyes were looking to the side where Lyle was. After the girl had giggled then walked away Lyle turned to me. He patted my back and we headed for the university's entrance.

"So, where'd you even get that info from?" I scrunched my eyebrows.

"Hm?"

"That I wanted a date?" I rolled my eyes.

"Oh, I got it from Wi-" Lyle was interrupted when William came in between us making a big gap in between Lyle and I for him to fit in.

"Heyo! What are my two best friends talking about?" William smiled brightly.

"Oh, we were talking about how you said that Mike wanted a da-!" Lyle was interrupted again by William, again. William covered Lyle's mouth and whispered something to him. I couldn't see his face since he went right up to Lyle's ear. I raised an eyebrow at Lyle. But he shook his head then nodded. William removed his hand from Lyle's mouth and turned to me.

"Ah! Mike! My bestest of friend, so? Have you made up your answer yet?" William asked as we exited the building.

"Answer?" I rolled my eyes up while scrunching my eyebrows together.

"Mm, oh, That?" I smiled at William which made him happy. But Then instantly turned to a frown, "No."

"Why? The date's tomorrow!!" William pleaded.

"No way. I'd rather go on a date with Lyle than be your third wheeler." I joked. Which made Lyle puff out his chest acting proud.

William leaned forward and turned, face to face with me while still walking next to me, "Really?" He asked staring straight into my eyes.

"Mm?" I backed my head up and nodded while trying to keep a straight face. But before I knew it my face flushed red. Luckily William had already pulled away, pouting sadly.

I fanned myself, "It's hot, isn't it..?"

"Yeah." Lyle agreed and fanned himself too, "Let's get something cold to drink at that cafe." Lyle pointed to a cafe that was on the other side of the crosswalk.

"Sure."

"Surs..yee-" William and I said at the same time but I changed the word.

It was silent for a while until Lyle burst out laughing as I turned red.

When Lyle opened the doors a blast of cold air blew onto my face.

"Ah..." I let out a breath of satisfaction. I walked in first jumping in when I was close enough to do so.  Lyle chuckled and walked in close to my side. We laughed together enjoying the cold air. After hearing a growling behind us William Grabbed my right shoulder and grabbed Lyle's left should then pushed us apart. He growled as we walked to the counter to get our order.

After we all ordered a smoothie we rushed to hog a seat that was by the window.

"Oh, Lyle you never told me who it was that said I wanted a date. I was gonna go have some beef with that person." I leaned forward, over the table to whisper to Lyle.

Lyle glanced at William then back at me, "It was-"

I gasped dramatically, "It was William!?!" I said loudly but not so loud for everyone to hear. William flinched looking away from his phone.

"Huh?"

I glared at him, angrily but it was hard to get mad at him. I mean he looked so innocent.

William glared at Lyle then looked back at me, "Mike, don't be mad. I was just playing around."

I let out an airy "Hhuh!" Then crossed my arms and turned away from William.

"Mike~" William set his phone down and grabbed my shoulders facing me, which he only saw my back.

"I'm not listening to you! I was gonna be your third wheeler but! Nevermind." I joked.

"Why do you even need a third wheeler? Shouldn't you just go on a date with privacy?" Lyle shrugged his shoulders but kept his shoulders up.

I turned back toward William, "Exactly."

"Mm..- Does Mike hate me?" William acted "cute". Lyle made a gagging sound then laughed. Noticing how the two wiggled around, William probably kicked Lyle.

I laughed then looked at William who returned his puppy eyes back toward me.

"I don't...hate you-" I found myself lost in his eyes. While we stared at each other silently Lyle had secretly grabbed William's phone that was vibrating like crazy.

"Woah, Will you got like ten thousand texts from girls," Lyle said, shocked. I felt a half ache half why was it aching in my chest. William snatched the phone away from Lyle and opened his phone and started texting. Lyle and I stared at William shocked and awkwardly.  I was gonna signal Lyle to leave to a different booth and leave the maniac but I couldn't since I sat at the window and William at the edge.

After a while, our smoothies came.

"Mike, let's race. See who finishes first." Lyle challenged. I nodded competitively and held up my fingers counting down from three. While Lyle and I slurped at our smoothies William's started melting as he continued texting with a serious and annoyed face.

"William, you gonna drink yours?" I asked. He silently shook his head keeping his eyes on his phone.

"Lyle drink this with me, it was my money y'know." I raised both eyebrows at Lyle.

We both pulled out our straws and put them into William's cup, sipping it all before it turned to a warm chocolate milk. At the corner of my eye, I saw William finally look up from his phone. Then he jumped as if he saw his car rolling down the hill. William grabbed his cup and pulled it away with my straw still in it. Lyle's straw was in his mouth.

"Hey. Do that with me...only.." William held the cup desparately.

"What..?"
