She broke my heart. She squeezed it till it burst. Chock full of my gushy, giddy, disgusting feelings.

For Her.

For that crazy ass bitch.

It was quite the ordinary day when I fell for her. But she was no ordinary girl. Don't let the thick bangs, broken glasses and small frame fool you. I fell straight into her trap and I can tell you, I haven't been quite the same.

September 3rd, 20XX

It was a chilly September morning with a slight warmth of the now gone summer. Leaves crunched underneath the hard surface of my boots.

Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.

The trek from home to school was quiet. No one else goes the same way I do at the end of the day, so both my mornings and afternoons are usually me by my lonesome. Maybe with the occasional dog walker or casual passerby if I'm lucky. Not that I mind.

A puddle was in my line of sight. But instead of stepping around it I did something quite unusual. I stopped near the leaky edge and looked at my reflection. My reflection was a watery, broken thing, it was. My features distorted here and there.

Not that I mind.

A broken nose, an eye on my forehead and sad yet simple smile, destroyed by the ever-moving liquid. I looked even closer. Long-ish blonde hair. Pixie-like nose. An aggressive smattering of freckles from the bridge of my nose, spreading to my cheeks. Murky grey(?) eyes and a bitter expression that could rival a pit bulls'.

Hmph. Not too bad, but not the greatest.

I stepped around the meaningless puddle and began meandering around, not really having a purpose.

Briiiiiiing!

The warning bell had rung in the distance. School. I forgot. I did a quick and easy sprint to my destination. Hm, life is slightly better when you're on the track team. I walked to the front entrance and went to the main mudroom and switched out my shoes. Out the corner of my eye, I spotted an unfamiliar mop of hair that had caught my eye, but as soon as I turned upwards to try and identify them, they were gone.

Hm. Strange.

Homeroom was boring. The teacher had no plans for Innovative Thinking and Learning time (ITL) so we just hung around. Bernie on my left and Fabiana on my right, we were just sitting around, having a laid-back time.
