In order to understand a lot of my stories you need to understand what happened in gym class, literally my entire life revolves around that one day. It's one of those days that completely changed your life forever, it's one of those days that you wonder what would've happened if you didn't get it out of bed that morning. And it's all because of Miss Walker's stupid three minute run.
In my gym class my teacher makes us do a warm-up, it's a simple three-minute job around the gym and some quick stretches. Now that doesn't sound that hard unless it is your first class every morning and you're fat.
On this particular day my friend Kiira Was feeling sick and didn't want to run or do gym so she sat out. The day before we had gotten a new kid, his name was Anthony. He didn't have gym clothes yet so he was forced to sit on the bench with all the other people who were not doing gym. Kiira and him became friends that class but I had noticed that there was something wrong with Anthony. He seemed weird and a little off. He said things that didn't make sense and was always yelling. He scared me but I kinda wanted to see who the hell he was and where he came from.
After the three minute jog and her warm up we went outside to play tennis. I went up to Kiira to talk to her and ask her who she was talking to. She told me about him and how he just moved here. When we got outside kiira was telling him a story about her brother, he had tried stopping her once while they were doing the dishes and Anthony's screamed "I'm going to fucking kill him!" As you can probably tell I did not like that very much and everyone went silent. I learned very quickly that Anthony really likes to threaten people and that he really likes guns. Nobody really knew anybody about this stranger or where he came from but I'm a very stubborn and curious person so I started asking questions.
I'm the type of person to notice. Anthony was wearing a blue sweater so I decided to read it, it had the name of a school on it and it just happened to be the high school that was beside my old middle school. I asked him about it and learned that we both lived in the same city many years ago.
The class ended and I walked away. I didn't think I would ever talk to this weirdo again but when I talked to Kiira on our way to class I realized she was wearing his hoodie. They had started dating THAT CLASS and had only known each other for an hour. I played it off like I didn't care and went to my next class.
Fourth period at my school is lunch, I sit with all the outsiders in a stairwell. We do a bunch of stupid things and listen to stupid music and act like idiots. As I was sitting on the floor Anthony walked in and started yelling "I made friends!" I just ignored him and didn't really care what he was saying until I heard him say that he lived in the same town as my friend Devon. I asked Anthony if you knew Devon and he said that they used to live together. I asked Anthony for his Snapchat and then texted Devon right away. I wanted to learn who this kid was. Devon told me that he's really weird and I shouldn't hang around him (I really should've taken his advice).
Sixth period I have science. I really don't care besides so usually I'm just on my phone all class. My phone went off with Anthony's name on it and I decided to open the message... It was a text from Anthony saying he got arrested and is now kicked out of school. During my gym class he had made a gun threat and a girl that was sitting out told the teacher and he got arrested. Even though it was a joke he still had to go to court and he still got kicked out of school.
After that day I started talking to Anthony nonstop, me and him became really good friends and he ended up asking for a picture that I was then happy to send him. Kiira has broken up with his so he could date on of her best friends and then he dumped her for another one of our friends. The entire time he was dragging me along with but we kept our mouth shut about what happened when everyone else was fast asleep.
