All She Ever Wanted

Flowers do bloom
And the sun does shine
But does anyone know of that one night
It all began with the girl on the streets
Not knowing the life beyond the tree
She hides her wings and lands on her feet
This was all she ever dreamed
The moonlight, that leaves you speechless
And the animals that wander throughout the night
Everything was going just fine
When the hunters started to hunt and found her trail
She was not safe, and she knew
That if she did not leave, she'd be in a stew
Quickly she flew off into the night
And back to her safe home
Where she spends all of her life
