Summerbash

So the first part of my story is basically starting out on the first exciting event that happened to be this summer. It was going to the B96 Pepsi Summerbash, a concert in my city, Chicago, that happens every summer. Basically a whole bunch of famous singers attend and the host is usually always Perez Hilton. So, my friend Riley came over and we got tickets to go to the show. When we got there we went to the Pre Bash. It was pretty fun, there was a lot of vendors and free stuff and free stuff is always good. We then came across an ad. It was called Dash to the Bash, and bascially you had to enter this phone contest and whoever won either won meet&greet passes with The Wanted or a free seat upgrade. So, just for fun, me&Riley entered. We hoped we'd win the meet&greet passes because I had had a lot of luck with that concert and won 10 tickets.

Well, you wouldn't believe my shock when I got a call from the lady from B96 telling me that I've won. She told me to meet her at a Gate where I could retrieve what I won. Praying I won the Wanted M&G, me and Riley SPRINTED to the gate. We got there and there was about 5 other people who got the call waiting outside the gate. The lady then came out and handed me my free...

SEAT UPGRADES. Darn. Not exactly what we wanted, but, still great. We went from sitting in the 30th row, to the 12th, so that's always good. We then got into the venue because the concert was going to start soon. We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw how close we were. That's when the excitement started.

First on came DEV, and we decided that we've seen DEV so many times, and we had 2 extra tickets left, so we were going to go find 2 lucky people to upgrade their seats so they could have a great day as well! We went up to the highest balcony at the concert, at the farthest from the stage, and saw 2 Austin Mahone fans with a poster. We thought, perfect! They were walking away, so we asked their dad to tell them to come back up and sat down and waited for them to come back. And they did! "We were so excited we ran back up here!" They told us happily. We then explained to them why we were giving away the tickets and where their seats were. They were super excited. We then walked them to their seats. Me&Riley were so happy we could make their night 100% better. It felt great!

We then remembered that we reallly wanted our poster that we threw away to show Austin Mahone! But the thing is, the Summerbash people weren't letting anyone out of the venue, so, the only way was to sneak out! So I then snuck down to one of the entrances.. only to be stopped by 2 guards. "Where are you going?" they asked. "I just need to get something I accidently threw away right around the corner, could I get back in then?" I asked. "Yeah, sure!" the guard said. I was really thankful because he wasn't letting anyone else leave and ran down to get my poster. I then ran back in the venue with victory. Austin Mahone then took stage. Well, let me tell you, the whole concert we held the poster up high and made sure Austin saw it. He did, and so did the rest of the crowd. Hehe, oops! :P At the end of the concert, Austin then said "If anyone would like to meet me, please meet me at the merch booth." WHAT. MEET AUSTIN MAHONE. YES! Riley&I ran SO fast, we deserved to be in the Olympics at the moment. Only then were we greeted by THOUSANDS of Mahomies. I've never been so squished and terrified in my life. I lost Riley in the crowd and practially my ability to breathe. Everyone kept pushing and man, oh man, was it awful. I then caught up with Riley again and we ran from the crowd. Obviously Austin wasn't going to come out with a crowd like this. I prayed that I would be able to meet him because I tried to sooo many times but each time he ended up mobbed and I barely got to even say a word to him. ]:

So for about an hour we wandered around the venue waiting for the word that hopefully Austin would be coming out soon. We then walked by a merch booth and you'll never believe who walked right over. AUSTIN! Freaking out, we followed him to where he would be signing merch and stood by the table. Sooo many people got the word and quickly crowded it and my gosh was I squished. The security guard then told us that we had to buy something for him to sign. I then bought an Austin poster. Austin signed it and gave me a high five. I was soooooooo soooooo soooo happy!!

We then ran into a girl named Lexi. I don't really know how, but we just kind of saw her. We talked for a bit, and she actually turned out to be friends with Austin! She told us stories about when they hung out and it all sounded so great. We ended up talking for an hour and accidently missed a lot of the acts! But that was okay we didn't miss the one we were most excited to see that night. THE WANTED! :D

The Wanted performed and did a great job, and it was all in the rain! It was honestly one of the best perfomances ever because all we did was dance and smile and watch our favorite people sing to us and pretty much we didn't have a care in the world at the moment.

The concert then ended and we then ran out to the back of the concert and waited to see if The Wanted would come out. Well, we didn't wait for long because my signed Austin poster was getting  really wet, so we ran to find shelter.

We did, along with a lot of other teens waiting for their ride. It took my dad about an hour to come because there was a LOT of traffic. We then left the concert. I must say, this was a REALLY good concert and I'm defenitly coming back next year. :]

I hope you enjoyed the first part of my story! I should have the second part up soon. It'll be about the party I went to with some of the casts of the Hunger Games! Tell me what you thought in the comments and vote please! Follow me on Twitter @SamanthaCh6
