[A/N: Back at it again with another chapter while I'm still working on a full fanfic.

I've had some time off writing so Nictoria are always my choice to train being back in the game. I haven't forgotten about the wedding chapter I promised Official_Esther ; and I can proudly say there will be more than one chapter because my imagination went wild and started the celebration from the very beginning.

I decided to write this because Flicker has become one of my favourite albums and I wanted to write about some songs that have a special meaning to me. Feedback is extremely appreciated. Hope you missed Nictoria as much as I did. All the love, x.]

"Babe"

I hear Niall's voice in the distance, mixed with the dream I'm mired in.

"Vic"

The voice is clearer now, the slumber starting to fade away.

I mumble something even I can't understand, but I guess it falls within the lines of 'let me sleep', 'five more minutes', or a very rude 'go away'.

Instead, Niall's laugh fills my ears and I can't help but finally open my eyes, pushing them into a squint as I try to get them used to the bright light that's surrounding me.

"What?" I slur yawning, blinking a couple of times until I can finally focus Niall's face properly.

"Sunscreen" Niall says with a tone that lets me know it's not the first time he's said that word.

"What about it" I mumble rubbing my eyes and sitting up on the sun lounger.

"Are you wearing any?" Niall says sitting on by my side and shaking the bottle in front of my eyes.

"I am" I answer taking the bottle from his hand, "I put it on before I came outside. Are you wearing any?"

"Just got back, so no" Niall says turning around so I can put some sunscreen on his back; "At what time are your friends arriving tomorrow?"

"1pm?" I answer pulling a face, "I'm not entirely sure, I'll check the chat when we go inside"

I spent three weeks in July with my family on the beach, and the last week traveling with my friends from uni, enjoying what will be the last long summer of our lives.

This time next year, even though it's August, we'll be studying our heads off so we can pass the exam that will determine the specialty and the hospital we'll be doing our residency in.

Niall invited me over to Los Angeles to spend a couple of weeks at his house in August. He's been kind enough to extend the invitation to some of my friends, so they're coming tomorrow to spend some days with us.

"Some will need to take a taxi, I can't fit all of them in me car" Niall says turning to me once again.

"I think they had already arranged that" I say standing up and jumping into the pool, Niall jumping in right after me; "Am I allowed to ask how was the meeting?"

A cheeky grin appears on Niall's face as soon as I finish the question.

"Yeah" he says raising his eyebrows, "Better than that, they've given me the finished version to listen to"

I let out a shriek of delight.

"Really?" I smile, "Will I be able to listen to it?"

"You've already listened to almost all of it" Niall laughs.
