We've known each other for so long. Ever since Year 1; 2006. I'm not quite sure how we met, but we did. He's the closest friend I've ever had. I don't want to lose him now.

I do remember that he did go to the same 'babysitter' as I. Now let me tell you, we're only calling the person who took care of us a babysitter because I don't know what else to call them. I'll tell you this though- she was a very nice old lady.

Okay, moving on.

We always made cubby houses at the babysitter's house with pillows and such because it was cool back then. I'm not saying that cubby houses aren't cool now because they definitely are. I just can't fit into them anymore... That's why I never make cubby houses anymore. But I sure can make a tent made out of bed sheets.

I also remember how every Friday, our babysitter would walk us to the shopping mall located on the other side of the street to grab a meal from McDonalds (I'm telling you; our school was exactly in front of the huge shopping mall). It didn't take much to walk there and besides, it was worth every step back then for a Happy Meal. You couldn't resist the toys that came with it though.

And guess what? There was a game arcade right next to McDonalds. A convenience or what?

Okay, so one school Friday afternoon, our babysitter was nice enough to lend us (or should I say, him) a coin to play some games at the arcade. So he and I went to the arcade to play some games. But really, we just played one since you couldn't play the other games without more than a single gold coin. There was a really big claw game machine and it was filled with really big Winnie the Pooh plush stuffed toys. I really wanted to have one of them because I was really obsessed with Winnie the Pooh and stuffed toys yet alone a Winnie the Pooh stuffed toy.

He had placed the coin in the coin slot and straight away, we were giving directions and communicating so effectively just to retrieve the Winnie the Pooh stuffed toy. I really wanted it badly and just as he signalled to drop the claw, I had pressed the button and watched the claw closely and anxiously as it lowered. I said to myself: Please, please, please, please. I (or should I say, we) had actually got it. I was so happy and and shocked at the fact that we had gotten it on our first go. We were so happy and he had told me I could have it. Isn't that great? I didn't have to think about how we should half the bear by splitting it in half. I was definitely not going home with just half of a Winnie the Pooh. He was being really kind and mature at that time.

I wish things were the same now.
