Not quite over!

Introduction-

Hi, my name is Penelope, I am an 18 year old girl who lives with my mother in a house in LA. we are extremely happy. my mom is a nurse and Im well... as I said I just left high school so the sky is the limit for me at the moment I currently have no plans on what I am going to do and what's great is that my mom hasn't pressured me into making any quick decision's that I could potentially regret, She hasn't even told me that I need to get a job. my mom's cool we have a great relationship, we talk to each other about practicly anything but she know when I need my personal space too. My dad, a lawyer, lives in England with his wife and my half sister who has just turned 6. He moved to England after they devorced (my parents) 8 years ago and he remarried and had another child. I am not the type of girl to dwell on the past I have moved on from my parents devorce. I love my step-mom and sister them mean so much to me but it's a shame that I can't see that as often as I want because they live so far away. I see them around 4 times a year and usually stay for about 2 weeks at a time.

At the moment I spend my days planing. I plan just about anything im not the spontaneous type, I prefer to make sure it has all been carefully thought out. I want to always be aware of what's happening or else I feel uncomfortable. at the moment I'm planing a shopping day with my friends Emily, she is also 18 she was in the same classes as me throughout high school so we have always been friends. she works at a cafe in LA called "nooner" and she happens to be stunning she has shoulder length light blond hair, tanned skin, bright blue eyes. she is slim but no too skinny and all the boys notice her she is extremely confident and likes attention. she is very different to me. I have long brown hair to the bottom of my back, pail skin, I am also thin because I go to the gym regularly, I'm not bad looking I have had boyfriends before but I'm very uncomfortable with being the center on attention. I like to stay out of the lime light and concentrate more on my plans for the future.
