Third Person POV
Academy Rooftop
A moment of silence hung in the air, only to interrupted by a man with grey hair.
"...okay, well you all have something that drives you. Now what I'm about to tell you, will make you freak out" he said
The three students gave him questioning looks.
"You three aren't Genin just yet"
"What do you mean?" Asked the pink haired boy
"The academy test is for sorting those who have potential, and those who should just quit. There's a second test that dictates wether or not, you become genin" He said with a smile
The three sat there silently.
"Now here's the funny part. Out of the twenty-seven who graduate, only nine will become genin. So there's a good chance you will fail" He said with an eye smile
Their reactions varied. The boy dubbed 'shrimp' was screaming about how unfair the test was, the only girl of th group annoyed with her sensei's antics, while the blonde welcomed the challenge.
"Now that you know, meet at training ground 7 at five AM. Also, I wouldn't eat breakfast if I were you. You'll just puke" with that, their sensei disappeared with a poof.
The three sat there for a minute or two, until the blonde got up to leave. He stopped for a second, and turned to face his team.
"Since we're supposed to be a 'team', eat breakfast tomorrow. Only a dumbass fights on an empty stomach" he said, then walked away
Satsuki's POV
I watched the dobe, as he walked away. He was always a mystery to me. He would act lazy, or like he could care less. He could easily fit in with the Nara clan, if he wasn't for his coloring. Most people fell for this act, but what gives it away, is his eyes. They were always alert, as if he was expecting an attack from anywhere. Whenever he looked at someone, he would go over every detail, as if looking for anything he could exploit.
It was like he was expecting the person he was talking to, to try and kill him out of nowhere.
I watched him leave, which left ne with the shrimp. Honestly, I don't know why he trys to impress me. He is only good with books, and tests. There is no way I would date someone shorter than me, and certainly not someone weaker.
After refusing another date, I left as well.
Time skip-The next day
Training groundsI. Really. Hate. My Sensei.
He told us to meet him at five in the morning, and it's already twelve in the afternoon. To make matters worse, the Dobe hasn't shown up yet. Which means, I'm stuck here with this annoying, pathetic, shrimp. I mean, what kind of guy dyes his hair pink? If it's natural, then I pity him.
After an hour later, I was inches away from strangling the shrimp. But unfortunately, the Dobe shows up, stopping me from doing so.
I looked at him, and noticed his wardrobe change. He wore the same hoodie, but rolled up the sleeves. He wore bandages on his hands, wrapped up to the forearm. He traded out his usual baggy cargo pants, for a less baggier version, with knee gaurds built in. Everything else was the same.
The shrimp jumps up and started to shout.
"YOU'RE LATE! If you aren't going to take this seriously, then you shouldn't be a shinobi!" Shouts the shrimp
"First of all, fuck you. Second, I advise you don't scream until your balls drop. Because you sound like an elementary girl, when you scream." He said, picking at his ear.
