Out on the rough tundras, near the northern base of the Pikida Stonegrove, small village of tents was struggling. We farmed spicy peppers, and ranched great horned rhinoceros. They starved, froze, and would sometimes get kidnapped, and be lead to the east and south to be sold and put to work.
One bright day, a young women named Kiyum, gave birth to a small, still girl. Kiyum touched her blond hair, naming her Aoyia. For weeks Kiyum struggled to feed the girl, while her husband spent countless hours ranching the rhinoceros.
One night, starving in the freezing colds, as a small caravan of about a dozen men from castle town came to pillage them, and enslave those they could. Thankfully, the tribe, called the Hebrians, had a plan encase of this. they had a hidden pit, impossible to spot without help. Kiyum's husband pushed the rock that hid it aside, trying to save his tribe. The women, and all children under fourteen ran into the pit.
They hid their for hours, while the men tried to fight off men from castle town, but many could not. Two little girls, four little boys, eight men, and four women were taken to be sold. They cried and screamed as the men held them to the ground, binding their hands. They attached all the shackles with a long rope, leading them to castle town, where they were resigned to a fate of servitude and suffering.
Kiyum's husband, Diagi, was taken. Kiyum cried for days, wishing that Aoyia would not have to grow up without a father. Without a male to ranch for them, they we're extremely poor compared to the other members.
