It was almost nightfall and charmy had not returned, espio and vector started to worry that he was lost, " I believe we should call the others to help us look for charmy , he usually comes home by now," espio said, " agreed " vector said in a worried tone, the two detectives called a search pastry to try and help them find charmy, everyone looked everywhere untill,

They had looked everywhere except  for mt ebbot, legend had it that back when mobians where still unknown that two races ruled over earth, humans and monsters, one day a war broke out between the two races and after a long battle the humans where victorious and sealed the monsters underground with a barrier spell that could only be broken with 7 human souls or mobian souls, sense the two where almost the same exhept mobian would could use magic and human souls could not, over the years every child that had climbed the mountain had never returned, espio had a fearful suspicion that the mountain had now claimed charmy,  

"vector I will search mt ebbot for charmy it's the only place we have not looked, " espio said,          " I'm goin with ya, we need to find the kid " vector said, and with that the two set off for mt ebbot, half way up the mountain thy found a candy rapper and a half eaten chip, " charmy was here " espio said worriedly, he did not want his theory to be correct, he wanted charmy to be safe , soon the two had made it to the top of mt ebbot  and the first thing vector saw was a ripped and dirty pice of bright orange fabric, the same fabric from charmy's vest, with closer investigation espio found the other half to charmy's wing stuck to a root next to the edge of the hole, " I think I know what happened, charmy must have gotten his vest stuck and when he managed to free himself he tripped fell and ripped his wing , I'm sorry to say this but I believe charmy is gone " espio said sadly as he tried to keep the tears from his eyes, vector picked up what was left of charmy with tears in his eyes, " the poor kid, we should have told him not to go up here " he said sadly, " we should tell the others about this so we can make sure no one else falls down here, " espio said as he started to treack down the mountain, vector followed still holding the half of charmy's wing and the scrap of orange fabric,
