the first thing i notice when i look at an account is their username.
your username defines your profile and it's purpose. it's an unique ID that you own.
usually usernames that use a dot (.) , underscore (_) , or any sort of emoticon (._.) ruin it for me. not saying that it's bad to have them but it just somehow doesn't seem aesthetic enough to me.
you could instead replace a word in your username with a number or another word ! for example, @/username can be changed into @/userncme or @/USERN4ME in case the first one is taken.
if you're using a number, i highly recommend you to type your username in capital letters instead of small ones.
you can make a username according to your interest, so that the person visiting your account can get a small idea of what your account is about. lets say, you're a horror writer. your username could be @/spooky(your name or someone else's) or if you are a Harry styles rp your username could be @/(any word to describe yourself)Harry.
try to make your username small, but not too small. i personally do not like usernames that say a whole sentence. try to make it as short as possible !
