The Trap!

As we continued on without Misiki I began to wonder. I wanted to know why their Kage wants her power and what they plan to do with it.

A familiar flow of chakra interrupted my train of thought."Hey, guys. Sorry, I'm late. Did I miss anything?" Misuki asked.

"No. How'd the fight go?" Naruto asked.

"It was boring, to be honest. They were as weak as they were 8 years ago." She answered."So, what really happened?" I ask.

"Well, they came at me but never got me-"

"That's not what I meant." I interrupted."How come They hate you all of a sudden? You said you used to be friends, right?" I asked again.

"Well, back in the village, I was the first in the class to become a Genin. They were angry at me cause they never caught up to me. Right now, I can tell they're only a Chunin level of sound but I passed the exams in the Leaf village with you guys. I'm closer to Jonin than they are." She explained.

"So they're jealous, is what I'm hearing." I ask."Hey, I'm not jealous!!" She shouted and we all stopped, looking at her as she covered her mouth.

"You're not Misuki. Who are you?" Neji asked. They just laughed wickedly as they transformed back into themselves.

"Hey, you're that Sodan guy!" Naruto said and he smirked.

"That's right. I hate to say it to such close friends of dear Misuki, but you're all gonna die." He said.

"Give her back, you bastard!!!" Naruto shouted with the Rasengan in his hand."Naruto, wait! This guy could be stronger than you! You don't know what he's got up his sleeve!" Kiba warned.

But it was too late, Naruto couldn't stop himself.

Before Naruto got close enough to hit Sodan, I sensed something covering him."Byakugan!" I said, getting a better view.

There was a shield of sound waves surrounding his entire body and once Naruto hit it, there was a loud boom, like the ones we heard from before. It must have been that same jutstu.

I felt like I was going to go deaf if I heard another. Everyone covered their ears as Naruto struck again. Even with my ears blocked, it's still extremely loud. That must be a specialty of the sound.

"Naruto, stop doing that!!! It's not working!!" I shouted and he stopped.

"It's useless. You've never seen my level of jutstu. You have no way of fending against it. You're hopeless!" Sodan taunted.

I had a plan, so I jumped down from the tree. Sodan followed me and surrounded himself with the sound wave shield once again.

"I'll start with you, little girl." He said and I froze.'No he didn't just call me a girl!' I thought. Suddenly, a shadow came from behind me and caught Sodan and I got into my stance.

"Heh, so she dances, too?" He asked and I became angrier.

"8 Trigrams: 64 Palms!" I yelled, coming at him. I was still using the Byakugan to see his chakra points so I could shut them off.

"2 palms, 4 palms, 8 palms, 16 palms, 32, palms, 64 palms!" I gave him one final blow and sent him flying into a tree.

Then, Kiba and Akamaru came down from the tree, pushing their Fang Over Fang to make sure Sodan could no longer move.

They finished and Sodan was on the ground. I walked up to him and he was groaning in pain. I picked him up by the collar of his shirt, making sure we were eye to eye.

"Where is Misuki?" I ask sternly.

"How should I know? Sasataki took her away. They could be half way to the sound village for all I know." He answered with a smirk.

Blood began dripping from his mouth as I pinned him to the tree, choking him."I'm...telling the truth...I don't have her..." He said.

"If you want to find her, follow Sasataki's trail...I'm sure your ninja dog can...sniff her out...but I'm..No longer a part of this.." He said. I dropped him and he caught his breath.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Naruto said and lead the way. They all left me behind as I stood and looked at Sodan.

"For the record, I'm not a girl." I said and left him alone.
