-Kit-
The day seemed to be very long especially with the professor rambling on and on. When the professor finally left, we had to copy down the presentation on the screen. It wasn't easy though. All the time, I had to sit through between the whispered conversation that my two friends were having.
"Can you two like- shut up?" I whispered at the two idiots who were craning their necks around my chair to talk to each other. It was a pity that my seat was placed in the middle of theirs. I had both Beam and Pha on either side.
"Ai'Kitty. You have to get out of your dorm today." Beam whispered loudly in my ear.
"I already told you no. Stop pestering me about it." I whispered back.
"Please."
"No."
"Please."
"Are you deaf?"
"I'm deaf to your stubbornness."
"Holy shit."
"Please."
I took a deep breath, "Fine! Just stop annoying me."
"Mission accomplished." Beam grinned as he sent a thumbs up towards Pha.
"You'll have fun, Ai'Kit. A break will help loosen your stress." Pha whispered.
"Whatever." I replied.
I wasn't looking forward to this at all. Being in public spaces gave me anxiety. Honestly, maybe it's because I don't usually go out much.
"After class, wanna go eat lunch somewhere?" Pha quirked up.
"Yeah!" Beam cut in.
The idiot Beam forgot to whisper as a bunch of students turned their heads our way to hush him.
"I mean-" He lowered his voice, "Yeah."
"Kit?" Pha looked at me.
"Okay." I agreed.
I was feeling hungry anyway. I haven't eaten any breakfast. I usually skip breakfast as I don't get enough time to eat.
"But, I'm meeting up with N'Yo before we go. Just wait for me, okay?" He looked back at his phone.
Beam and I nodded. It wasn't surprising that Pha couldn't stay away from that science student. He's obsessed with him. When I say obsessed, I'm not joking.
We finished our class and we headed outdoors. Beam and I sat down at the table while Pha stood by a pillar that was next to the parking lot.
"I'm fucking tired." I grumbled, as I rested my face on my hand.
"I'm hungry." Beam grumbled back.
We talked about random things before Beam suddenly glanced at something behind me.
"N'Yo finally arrived." He pointed.
I turned my neck to stare at a grey car that was pulling up next to the pillar. Pha opened the passenger's door as a short student stepped out. I saw Pha's stoic face light up with happiness as he began to engage in a conversation with the junior.
I rolled my eyes and shifted my attention back to the wooden table, running my finger slowly against it.
"Hey, the driver just got out. Isn't he the engineering moon?" Beam whispered.
"I don't know, I don't care." I whispered back as I stifled a yawn.
"He's pretty handsome." Beam continued.
"Are you gay?"
"No, look over there. He's standing next to Pha."
"I can't be bothered to use my energy to look at him."
"Just look, for fuck's sake."
"Oh my god, you're so annoying." I groaned. To stop his pestering, I turned my head to look at the so-called engineering 'moon'. It's just one glance, right?
