Part I: What Started It All

October 31st, 1955

It all started Halloween night, 1955. A series of murders began and didn't seem to stop. Stabbings. Brutal murders. Unimaginable, gruesome, gory scenes of blood and guts. It all happened in the woods, of the small town of Lattadin. Officer Alex Laxburg constantly investigated these cases of brutal murder. People looked up to him as the bravest man alive. Until one night, it happened. Laxburg died. Disappeared. There was no trace of his body since then. No one knows what happened. People were disturbed and horrified by Alex's death. There was no one to protect them. At least not like Alex Laxburg did. The next day, another murder took place in the Lattadin woods. A man named Sam Blunk got tired of letting the killer do this. It wouldn't stop. He knew someone had to do something about this. He entered the woods. He saw a silhouette in the distance. It was an inhuman shape. He pulled out his gun. "Who's there?" he demanded. The shape walked toward him. Then he didn't see it at all. Something grabbed his shoulder.
