*Applause fades in*

Blinding lights shine upon the vacant microphone. The shadow of a man can be seen a few steps behind appearing to embrace every ounce of glory.

Claps, whistles and howls fade away as the camera then turns to face the lights.

Through the whimpering curtains, a ray of sunlight shines upon the cluttered room.

*The mother Knocks on the door*

Mother - "Time to wake up for work, Isiah! and Fix that room before you leave. I'm running late for work but keep in mind what I was saying about looking for a trade, I've left some bits on the side so you can make breakfast."

Rubbing his eyes to try and clear his vision, as he sat up to look around his room.

Their eyes said it all; looking at him from head to toe. Whispering about his kicks, kicking each other about his jeans, looking around for the precise time, as they angled their head at his watch.

Actor nods his head and they nod back.

Before turning his back towards the boys, he soon realizes that one of the boys looks exactly like him.

Boy on the corner played by the actor - "Are you good family, your out here moving mad".

Unknowingly nodding away to every word the boy said in confusion, he rushes off to the bus stop.

Homeless man - "I am a what society made me. I am a physical reflection of depression, of which they don't want to deal with. I am apart of the elite professions, yet I am consumed in debt and insufficient living conditions."

Change drops and pings in his hat, as his hands lay bare their struggle.

Homeless Man - "How you doing there, son?

Any spare change for the homeless man; you are all so kindly stepping over?

Ive been here for a few months and I've been apart of society for 46 years and look how the world treats me.

Your suits, your ties, your boots, your smiles, they are all apart of who i am.

Look into my eyes, my mind shows more than what you see.

Who are you in this world?

I bet your thankful your not me.

So could you lend us some money for a cup of tea?
