Maxie sat back in her recliner at the AMC movies. It was almost like a tradition for her and her bestfriends ; D'eanglo and Gregory (who was a girl) to go to the movies. D'eanglo sat to the left of her , as always he was typing fast on his phone. His semi-long curly dyed blonde hair shifting from side-to-side as he squrimed in his seat. He normally had a smile on his face and had lightbrown eyes. Tonight he had on a denim jacket with a white t-shirt on underneath , he aslo wore his trademark striaght jeans ; with a clean pair of all black Air Force 1's on his feet. He fiddled with his earrings on his ears - he did that when he was nervous , He must have been playing some game on his phone. "Maxie ! Look this way girl !" Maxie swivled her head to her friend's Gregory's voice. Gregory had her phone in a "selfie ready posistion" She smiled at Maxie. Her long and straight auburn hair over her shoulder. "Well , you gonna smile Maxxine ?" I glared at her "You KNOW not to call me that" She laughed a little before I spoke up "Hurry Gregory , The movie is gonna start !" She faced her phone in a spot to where we both looked like to typical teenage girls making kissy faces to the camara. "Perfect !" Gregory gushed showing Maxie the picture. Maxie nearly wanted to throwup when she saw her face. People always told her she was pretty and had a nice frame. But , it was just that girl mentality she had always guessed. "Excuse me guys , I gotta go to the restroom really quick." Maxie said as she sat up from her seat and began to head out the theater. "Hey , Be back soon Max. The movies about to start yunno." exclaimed D'eanglo in his normal lazy voice. She headed into the lob by and asked a cute theater worker where the bathroom was (even though she knew exactly where it was.) Maxie looked at herself in the mirror. She had a natural tan ; due to her father being african-american and her mother Puerto-Rican. Yet her light brown wasn't curly , and her eyes were just a boring shade of brown. And on top of that she had BIG eyes. She fixed her tanktop and navy blue cardigan over it. And pulled down her short (really short) denim shorts. She had to con her father into letting her purchase them. She scuffled in her all-black toms as she pulled her long non-curly hair into a ponytail. All she really wanted to do was impress D'eanglo and hang out with Gregory ; both whom are her best friends. But she couldn't do both. She let a long sigh escape her lips. A groan came from the door of the bathroom just as Maxie started her way back to the theater. Just at the door was a very sickly looking hispanic woman. The woman reached out to Maxie and hung her head over Maxie's shoulder. Now Maxie was never the rude type , if she had something unkind to say : she kept inside. "Um , Ma'am are you okay ?" She spoke in soft voice to the sick lady. She groaned again and fell the floor writhing , Maxie stood there in utter fear. Not knowing what to do. She quickly called over the theater worker she had spoke to earlier. He calmed the over-reacting Maxie and assured her he would call the paramedics and to just return to her movie. Reluctantly , Maxie trudged back to theater 12 and sat in her seat. "You missed the best part Max" D'eanglo whispered between swallows of popcorn. A part of her wanted to tell her friends what happened. "It wasn't too serious..." She told herself. Maxie looked at the screen , and was instantly hit with with a picture of zombies eating a woman in the streets. Maxie stifled a small giggle , the woman in the restroom was acting just like the zombies. How clichè. She knew better than anyone there was no such thing as werewolves , or vampires , much less zombies. The lady was just sick. For what seemed like forever , and about 20 minutes : the movie ended. "Good movie , What did you think Gregory ?" D'eanglo asked still holding his medium soda in hand. "It was decent , the ending was terrible - everyone died." She responded in a nonchalant manner flipping her auburn hair over her shoulder. "I liked it , but the zombies were really agressive." Maxie said turning to look at D'eanglo quickly looking away for fear of blushing. D'eanglo held open the door for the ladies "Well Max , there zombies what would ya expect !?" He laughed as he said this ; a stupid laugh. "Oh , hey guys. My mom just texted me she wants me home immediately ; guess that means no yogurt ?" Gregory pouted as she walked over to her black Acura. "No problem Greg , we'll catch you next week" Maxie smiled and waved at her. The last two friends watched as Gregory sped off. "Guess that means just us ,huh" D'eanglo chuckled as he tied his denim jacket around his waist. Maxie grinned a bit "Yep , you still wanted to get yogurt?" The parlor wasn't too far from the theater. D'eanglo opened the door for Maxie , "Order anything you want Maxie" D'eanglo said with a smile.
