I woke up to the shining sun beaming on my face. I stepped out of my bed and opened my window letting in a warm spring breeze that pressed onto my skin. I decided to have a outside writing day.
I love to write, I wrote a plenty of book genres that stretched from fantasy, to historic fiction, action, horror, ect. There is probably not a single genre that I haven't tried yet.
I am currently working on the third book in my favorite series, Sarah Daggers. I love the story and I have been getting some very positive reviews on the last book. So I am going to write anouther chapter today, and I know the perfect place to do it. The city park!
I needed to hurry. I don't know how much time I have until the next storm. They have been happening a lot lately, it was like they had no end.
I didn't have any time to lose, so I ran out of my room and jumped into the shower.
...........
After my shower ended I put on a red jacket, with a pair of black sweat pants. I took a look in the mirror to see how I looked. My brown hair was a mess, it was all tangled up in knots that are impossible to untie by human hands.
I took some purple hair dye and put it on the ends of hairs. After five minutes of me combing my long brown now purple tipped hair, I grabed my butterfly hair comb and placed it ever so gently on my head. I was perfect. I left the bathroom and grabbed my writing tablet.
I was about to leave the house when I remembered something very important. I ran back into my bedroom and grabbed the necklace that was sitting on my dresser.
The necklace had a golden chain and a book and quill that would hang from my neck every time I would wear it. The necklace was a symbol of me being a writer. It also showed that I wasn't afraid to share my feelings with the world and how much I loved to help others in need. I got the necklace as a gift from the writers club that I am a part of. I am not the present of the club though, but I am a valuable member none the less.
I took the necklace and placed it around my neck. I smiled at the cold feeling it brought to me. I walked over to my door way and stepped out the door.
I was met with a cool and colorful breeze as the wind of a late storm washed over me. I knew today was going to be a good day. So I excitedly jumped into my car and made my way to the nearest highway.
On my way to the park I ended up hearing a news report on the radio about a riot going on in the southern part of town. I couldn't do anything but to let out a sigh.
"What has this world come to?" I asked myself. I turned the radio up so I could listen to the whole news story.
"What was the cause this time?" A lady on the radio asked.
"It hard to say for sure." Said her male partner, "It didn't seem like anyone provoked them so I fear that it started for no reason."
"Oh my." Said the lady.
"The riot stopped now but the people of this town are scared." The man said. I didn't want to listen anymore so I turned off the radio. I let out a deep sigh, there was nothing I could do at the time. But I was determined to do something. I hurried to the park as quickly and as safely as I could.
..............
When I finally made it to the park I got out of my car and stepped out into the sun. There was little to nobody at the park today so I basically had the entire park all to myself. I stepped out into some shade and took a seat on a nearby wooden bench.
I pulled out my tablet and opened my book. I was on chapter thirteen, and Sarah and the others were trying to find thier way through a literal realm of darkness and fear. They are so close to finding a way out that it makes you tense up at the fear of what is coming next. I started to write the next chapter. I was so lost in my own imaginary world that I started to picture myself with my characters. I felt like I was one of them and I wanted to fight along side them.
Before I knew it, I was standing up from my bench as I ran over to a nearby tree. I grabbed a stick from under the tree and started to swing it around like a child playing swords with the siblings. My imagination took a hold of me and I could see everything that I was picturing clear as day. There was a giant ogar standing in front of me. He had razor sharp teeth and a sword made out of silver. He was a knight that worked for the evil king of Darkness, Draven. I drew my sword and began to fight the beast. The fight was long and hard. Both me and the ogar were tired and ready to end the fight. I took a deep breath pulling myself together and I lounged for a final attack. I impaled the ogar with my sword and won the battle.
My imagination faded away, and I found myself in the middle of the park with a stick in my hand. I dropped the stick and walked back to my bench, exhausted after the long battle.
..............
I rested for about thirty minutes after my battle. I took a glance at the sky to be greeted my a giant lightning bolt flash across the sky. A storm was coming soon. I smiled, I was ready to head home after my long day, so I started to walk to my car.
As I opened the door to me car I couldn't help but notice crying kid in the middle of the park. The kid was bleeding and had bruises all over its body. I didnt know what was happening so I got a closer look. I saw a man standing next to the child. The man had a black mask and blood covered brass knuckles. He was out of breath it was obvious that he was hurting the kid for quite a while. I saw what as happening and I could bear to watch. I threw my tablet into my car and ran over to the child.
I didn't scream at the man that was attacking him. Instead I ran silently and right before I got to him I called, "LEAVE THAT KID ALONE!!" and punched the man on the side of the forhead knocking him on the ground.
The man didn't have time to react to me hitting him yet so I picked up the child and sprinted to my car.
I looked behind me to see the man holding a pistol. He was aiming right at me. I didn't know what to do. I started to run in a zigzag so he couldn't hit me the man was about to fire but right before he did. Loud thunderclap scared him and he fired his bullet.
The bullet hit me right in the back. But my adrenaline gave me the energy to continue running. I could feel my blood leave my body as I ran to the medical center in the front of the park. By the time I got to the medical center I was already to collapse on the ground. I saw someone at the door, I knew I needed to call them. Using every last bit strength I had left, I hit the door as hard as I could. Then I collapsed on the ground in a puddle in my own blood. Then everything went white.
