"Are you in yet?"


"For the last time hyung. It's freezing and my legs are going to shatter if I go any faster," The man mutters, rolling his eyes.


"Yah! If you'd walked faster, you'd be indoors by now," the voice continues to lecture from the man's earpiece.


"Are you asking me to put you on mute?" the man asks bitterly, his fingers already reaching for the unseen button on the device behind his ear.


"Suga, don't you dare--,"


With a simple press, the nagging voice disappears.


Yoongi sighs in relief, a puff of warm air leaving his mouth. Trudging on through the snow, he squints at building signs as he walks past.


He wasn't lying when he said his legs were freezing off. In fact, his whole body was practically in danger of frostbite. It didn't help that the only thing he had on was a thin jacket, a T-shirt, a pair of jeans, and a face mask to conceal most of his features.

But despite the cold, he would be fine. Distracting himself from pain was what he was trained to do; and it was with his own thoughts that he did so.

He wasn't even supposed to be here. It wasn't what he was trained for. Spy work was Hoseok's specialty; his bubbly exterior gaining the trust of many people quickly. In fact, it was Hoseok that was supposed to be dispatched on this mission today, but he woke up ill this morning. They had tried to see if there was any way to delay the event a days, but Namjoon had insisted that this was the only day that it could be done.

So here he was. A firearm specialist, more specifically a designated marksman, in the spy field.

There was a reason why he didn't like taking Hoseok's missions unless he had too. There was a difference between the job of a sniper and a spy.

Although Yoongi was indeed use to being on the lookout, recognizing enemies, and taking them out, he always did it hidden away from the target. They would never see where the bullet had come from, nor who had shot it.

On the other hand, Hoseok was used to interacting with others. He was good at tricking people into trusting him with his sly words of fake innocence. He was good at something that Yoongi prefered not to dabble in:
