Lost without you

Chapter 1: Moving to Korea

"Chrissy!" My best friend Lisa shouted "Chrissy, come on we're going to be late!" I hurried down the long flights of stairs.

"Am here! happy" I said with a grin  as I got my purse and keys.

"I so don't have time to answer that, just get in the taxi. I've already packed our luggage."

" thanks." I opened the door, and rushed to entered the taxi. Lisa was hot on my tail, with her big purse. Why did she even bring such a big purse? I just know we'll get charged extra because of it. We were traveling to Korea for a little vacation just me and her. We have been in the US all our lives, it's time to go somewhere else for a change. I know we could have picked a more suitable place, but Lisa convicted me to go. Mostly the whole plan was for her to go see a K-pop group named Exo-k. She's been researching them for months on the making, she just plans to go see them.

"Oh God! I can't wait to go to Korea" Lisa said as my thoughts faded away.

"Yea me neither. Just can't wait" I said with sarcasm. I really didn't want to go but if it makes Lisa happy I better just stick with it. I 've known her all my life, I prefer her as my forever friend, she has been there for me when hell broke loose in my life. Even when my dad died she was there every minute to comfort me, and now that we're 18 and we've already graduated from high school, we're going to Korea to go see Exo-k. How exciting!

"You know chrissy you and Kai could really fit together"

"What makes you say that?" I asked. Kai is one of the members of Exo-k, he's the best dancer in the group, and yet the one with the hot body. The way he moves on the stage makes you go insane. I watched some of his teasers and they were amazin he's a good dancer and all, but is he a good guy?

"Well" she began " you're a dancer and have been dancing for 16 years now. And you know he's a dancer as well it would just be perfect."

"Well I don't think that's going to happen" I replied back. "And besides, do you know how many fans will hate me if I end up as his girlfriend. A lot ! So even if I see him am not saying a word."

"oh well" she sighed with a smile "That's your loss because he's the main reason I'm going to Korea. I just wanted to make sure there's no competition between me and you. You know I don't want you to get all jealous that he's with me."

"Don't worry," I began "I wouldn't even care."  I said with a smirk

"That's even better then" she smiled.

I laughed at her. I can't believe am leaving the US. I can always return, but for the whole summer I'm not going to see what's left of my family. I only have a mom and an older brother, my younger siblings died with my dad in an car accident. It happened a long time ago when I was six years old, and it was my birthday. I was so excited, but that was the day excitment turned to sorrow and pain for half of my life.

 "Mommy what did you get me?" my six year old slim body asked. My mother smiled at me

 "Oh sweetie that's a surprise. you know that" she said as she touch my hair. I lingered in her touch a little while longer. I couldn't wait to see what my dad got me. He's been gone all afternoon, and it's getting late. I kept calling him on his cell phone, but it keeps going to his voicemail.

 "Sweetie I don't know where your father is with Gabrial and sara. He should have picked them up for practice by now" my mom said to me, as she looked at her phone. she looked me deep in my eyes, and saw the saddness lingering there.

 "Tell you what" she started with a smile "When he comes back we'll take you out to disneyland this weekend, and we can stay there as long as you like"
