Chapter 5: Battle of the Best

After I arrived home, I heard the TV on.

Winney, Lo Lo, and Lay Lay were sitting in the living room watching CSI: MIAMI.

"You guys, I got to get you enrolled into school, so come on let's go." I said as I went to turn the TV off

"Awwwhhe," they all said. I gave them all one of my serious faces. And they soon straightened up. We all got into the car and I drove down to an elementary school.

"M.J.J. Elementary School for Education," I read the sign say as I pulled into the parking lot. "I miss mommy," Lay Lay whined. I looked at her and had sad eyes. I turned over "I miss mommy too, Lay Lay, but mommy is watching us from heaven. And she will be happy that your starting back school. OK??" I lightly smiled, she smiled back at me. 

We all got out and we walk inside to where the main office is. "Excuse me, I would like to register my brother and sister's for school." We get all their information in and the woman at the front desk took us to the teachers they would have.

"OK since Edwin is only 3, he will be in our beginner's program. His teacher will be Mr. Anderson." We talked for a min and headed to Lay Lay's class.

"OK Shali's teacher will be Ms. Oogelano, she's the best Kindergarten teacher here."

Last we met Lo Lo's teacher. "And here we are, Chloe's teacher." We walked into the room and say a man with his back turned, writing on the blackbroad. My heart dropped as I looked at the man from the back. That pony tail, that tall figure. No it couldn't be.

"Chloe's teacher is Mr. Jackson," he turned around when he heard his name getting called. His eyes grew big when he say me. Chloe looked at him with such joy, a sparkle in her young eye.

"Uh-mm Hello my name is Mr. Jackson and I will be your 3rd grade teacher." He dropped down to Chloe's level and introduced himself to her.

He then stood up to me and looked me in my eyes. I was in shock but I didnt show it. "Your daughter will have a good time, Mrs..." he said being funny.

"She's my sister and no Mrs. just Miss." I said with an attitude.

I told Chloe to go meet some of her classmates. While Mr. Jackson led me to one of the small chairs to talk.

"So Miss. Penelope if that is your real name, how have you been since our last encounter." he asked looking at me up and down.

I looked at him in disgust "My real name is Sydnei and I how have I been you sick twisted sexy..." I stopped myself. Did I just say sexy? I look away knowing I got a smile from him.

"So you think-" "Hold it bitch. It slipped out, you alright but dam don't be conceited." I snapped back at him. He looked at me shocked

from my fast words.

"Alright let's cut to the chase, then. We are both trained killers. But lead a secret life we can never tell our families about. We should make this interesting."

His words caught me by surprise. But I listened. "We will kill the people for money. Everyone is a price tag on them. So let's make a bet."

Now me personally, I have never made bets. I always were stupid but for some reason I wanted in. "Alright what kind of bet?"

"Battle of the best," he said smiling evily. "We both work for the same people, so we both get the same kill, so the person who kills the most, and gets the most money wins."

"And for the person who loses," I said with one eyebrow up. "The person who loses, has too..." he stopped for a minute thinking about it.

After about 2 minutes, he said "The person that loses.. has To Die."
