Bang, Bang, Bang. Three loud knocks on the front door, much more aggressive that the time Katie did it. I was literally jumped out of my skin at every knock.

"What do they want?" Katie whispered in my ear.

"I don't know, and I don't want to know."

Bang, bang, bang. 3 more extremely loud and way more aggressive knocks. The house was so hushed that you could hear a pin drop. The front door hinge went POP as the Unknown broke the front door down. We all stayed in my room, but as soon as Katie started having an asthma attack, our cover was blown. Thud, thud, thud, the footsteps coming up the stairs were gradually getting louder and more intense.

Katie left her inhaler downstairs, but as soon as we heard the Unknown go into my brothers room, I sprinted down the stairs and grabbed Katie's inhaler off the table, and some food, water and torches (my light is busted and obviously we cant go out to get another, because yeah) and sprinted back up the stairs, but tripped on the last one. I kept hold of Katie's inhaler, water and the food but the torches slipped down the stairs and made a very loud noise hitting every step. All I could do was panic, I shot back up and stumbled into my room, my family and Katie looking bewildered.

"Did you get it?" my mum asked, in hope I'd say yes.

"I got it," I muttered, out-of-breath.

I gave Katie her inhaler and she took at least 5 breaths before she calmed down. What. A. Day.

But its not over yet...
