The morning was like every other morning. Me and Dean learned math and cursive writing, while Joe and Jessie learned algebra and science. And of course Carlee, would be in art class.
Then it was time for lunch, yum. I walked into the lunch room and looked at the menu.
"Did you ever notice how hard it is to read this thing?" I asked Dean who was right behind me.
"Right!" Dean cried. We both laughed and went to go get trays.
After getting our lunch, we stopped by the wall to look for a table. We scanned the lunch room, but of course it was hard to do when you where only 3 foot tall and had middle school kids all around you.
"Why do they always sit right in the front of everything?" Dean asked, I could tell he was getting mad.
I looked around. Then I saw a chair on the wall. That's when I got the best idea ever.
"Here, I'll just stand up here," I said getting on the chair," and look over everyone. Lets see. Oh! There's one over there!"
Dean helped me down and stood on the chair himself. "Oh yea! I see it over there!"
We both started over to the right side the cafeteria. I fallowed closely behind Dean as we went through the tables.
When I could finally see how close we where to the table, my stomach started to growl.
'Man I must be hungry!' I thought. Then, out of no where a foot popped out in front of me.
I didn't see it so, I tripped. I fell on the floor with a hard thud. My plastic tray making an even bigger pounding sound on the floor. I looked up to see one of the boys in my class, laughing at me.
"What's the matter? Don't know how to walk shorty?" He laughed.
I felt myself turn red, and my eyes beginning to fill with tears. I looked at the floor dropping my head.
'Why are they so mean to me? What did I do?' I asked myself.
