"Lilliana, you were not supposed to find out like this." Kaden said, inching closer me. I take a sharp step back and hit my elbow on the doorknob.
"You were going to find out anyways." Silva remarks with no remorse in her voice at all.
I shake my head unable to open my mouth due to the immense shock that was coursing through my brain cells. The tears refuse to fall. This is not real, this is not the person I once considered my best friend. I yank the door open and dart out of the school into the parking lot.
