Hi guys! This will be my first ever story to be published so please bare with me! I am trying my best to deliver a great story and not a cliché one :) Hope everyone is having a good day.

Also, please expect some Filipino phrases or words at some chapters. I will put some translations so don't worry!

So today is the day we get to move our stuff in our new house. I am not actually that excited. I just wanna go to my room and get a nice long sleep. I am already exhausted from the flight and the moving, i just wanna call it a day.

"Hey Kat, do you need some help with those boxes?" My dad asks me while walking towards me.

"No thanks papa, I can manage" I say while getting a better grip on the box that i was carrying to the living room. Oh man, i regret declining my dad's offer because this box is freaking heavy!!! but i got no choice. It's good to get some exercise, sometimes. (I guess)

So after few more hours of carrying boxes around and sweating, we finally manage to get all the boxes inside the house and I am definitely not in the mood to unbox them. When I saw my parents talking and laughing while sitting on the couch, I take this as a "yey-i-can-go-now-and-wash-myself-up" signal because I think we are done for the day, but as soon as i took the first step the door bell rang.

"Kat,tignan mo kung sino yung nasa pinto " [Kat, look who's at the door] my mom says, not attempting to stand up. "Sige" [okay] because I got no other choice so I was dragging my feet on my way to the door and when I opened it, I saw the cutest smile I have ever seen!!! It's a little girl wearing her girl scout uniform!!! "Do you wanth thu buy some cookieth??" She asks me showing her cute smile. "Sino yung nag door bell?" [who rang the doorbell?] my mom says while walking towards me from behind. "Oh hello there!" My mom says seeing the angel in front of her. "Hello Ma'am! Would you like thu buy thome of my cookieth?" she says while offering her cookies that looked like she made w her mom. "Yes of course! We'll take one!" My mom says while reaching for her wallet and gave the little girl the money. "Thank you tho mutch Ma'amth! Have a good day!" and I closed the door as soon as she turned around. When I was about to step on the stairs someone decided to press the doorbell again and I was so pissed that I stomped all the way to door and opened it and yelled "LOOK. WE ALREADY BOUGHT SOME OF YOUR COOKIES AND WE HAVEN'T EVEN TRIED IT YET SO PLEASE"

"Oh, good thing this one is a pie" he chuckled.
