I'm now sitting in the back of the car with my social worker, she's mean just like my mother, the drive is silent, I'm staring out the window with tears rolling down my face, I had to go threw it twice, you would think the first time would of prepared me but no, it just felt worse, mother didn't even say bye.

We got to this huge house that looked a bit like a castle, kinda creepy too, Zena my social worker pulled me out the car and pushed my belongings towards me and motioned for me to follow her, she got to the lift and we went up to the third floor and once we got to a room, she pushed me in and spoke

"Don't bother me, no contact with your family is what they asked for, now go sleep you have school tomorrow" she stormed of and I sighed and got up of the floor and closed the door, and turned to see two beds, two wardrobes, one bathroom, and two desks, a tv with a console and loads of games surrounding it, and one boy lying down on the bed staring at me with shock. I bite my lip

"Hello I'm Faye" he shrugged of his shock and spoke

"Hello Faye, I'm Xavier and by the looks of it, I'm your roomie" I sat on the bed and but my lip nervously, he sighed and sat next to me

"Hey you know you can cry right I won't judge?" I shook my head, I'm not going to cry I'm going to be strong </I> he messed up my hair and ran back to his bed, I glared then got my pillow and started smacking him with it, which caused him to laugh so hard he fell of the bed, I laughed at him and his head popped up form the other side and he pouted

"That was mean Faye" I raised an eyebrow

"And messing up my hair wasn't?" He shrugged, and sat back down on his bed,

"So what got you sent here, I mean this place is tough, only children who are bad get sent here because there parents can't cope, you seem two nice to be here?" I rested down next to him and spoke

"My mother basically blackmailed my father to send me, she said if I don't come here, then she's taking my brothers away from us" he sighed

"Let me guess, she had favourites?" I nodded, he stroked my hair and spoke again

"So why have you got a hand print on your face and a busted lip?"

"Mother and brother"

"I'm sorry Faye"

"Why I mean you couldn't of done anything, not only that but you hardly know me?"

"I don't know, since you first landed in here I started feeling protective of you, you remind me of my little sister who I can never see again, I mean after she passed away my mother couldn't cope with me, I understand why she sent me here though, I got mixed up in a gang once my sister died, and you, you remind me of her" I spoke softly

"I'm sorry to" he nodded

"It's okay like you said to me you couldn't of done anything" I smiled sadly

"So how long have you been here and what age where you sent here?"

"2 years and since I was 15"

"So your seventeen?" He nodded

"Your the same age as my older brother" he smiled

"We'll I can promise I will never punch you or hurt you" I smiled

"I might of deserved it though I did call him a player in front of the whole school" he laughed

"Faye, oh my god your funny, but you didn't deserve a punch, no man should hurt a lady, not only that but your brother shouldn't have even pulled a hair out of your head, I mean I could never her my sister"
