His Story

Chapter Two

...Skylar...

The next day

1:43 p.m

Wow.

All I can say is wow. I watched my 17 year old boyfriend get a whooping yesterday. I don't even know what happened but I know it had something to do with his sister, she kept yelling "I told y'all about messing with my baby!"

Ms. Nicole don't play, she got him and Charles. I was nervous I'd be next.

It's funny cause right after she finished, she went in her room, fixed her hair, and came back to give me a hug. That woman has serious issue if she can just snap back like that.

I was currently watching my baby nephew while my big brother was at work.

/Skylar Williams 17 year old highschool senior and girlfriend of Tyrell. She lives with her 28 year old brother(Christian) and occasionally her 3 year old nephew CJ (if he's with them that weekend). Their Dad passed while at war when Sky was only 8 months and their Mom abandoned them when Christian was 21, Skylar was only 11./

I still can't believe that three years ago my brother made this precious little human. My nephew is the sweetest, and he's super respectful for a 3 year old. My brother raised him right, and he's had a lot of practice since he basically raised me all by himself.

Even before my mom left us without a trace, Christian as been taking care of me since I was 4 years old. Imagine becoming a father to your little sibling at only 15.

My mom fell into depression after my  Dad passed. She was hurting for years and even abused drugs to cope with her pain.

She disappeared on Christian's 21 birthday, she left us a note basically saying how she was sorry for being a horrible mother and how looking into our faces caused her pain, because we look like our father.

She told us we made her miserable and she was leaving to start over with her life and to never EVER come looking for her.

Sad right? Well imagine looking her up on Facebook to see she started a whole nother family. Can you guess what she named the two dogs in her new family?

She such a bitch and I hate her. She has two new daughters and a son with a new husband. My whole life I never seen her so happy.

I cried to my brother and asked him to take the pain away. He just told me to forget about her and to move on like she did. Still I wonder what life would be like if she stayed and fixed herself.

I felt bad for my brother, he stopped his life to take care of me. He had friends and a girlfriend. He was on the basketball team and from what I was told he was really good! And he let it all go just so I'd be taken care of properly.

That's why I'm gonna do my best to make him proud. To show him that the life he threw away will not be in vain.

He works hard to provide for us so I'm usually watching my Nephew all time but I don't mind.

Looking at my time on my phone, I knew my brother would be here any minute because he gets off at 1:30.

CJ was asleep on my chest and I didn't wanna wake him so I got comfortable on the couch and watched Tv until he got here.

That is until one hour turned into five hours. CJ was up and active and Christian wasn't here yet. I hate when he does this because I instantly go  into panic mode thinking he won't be back, like he's gonna abandoned me too.
