I woke up but I didn't find her anywhere. I had work to do so I didn't bother I headed to take a bath but the thought of her leaving without telling me did bother me a lot of .i went don't to find my housekeeper getting breakfast ready I wasn't on the mood though so I just headed to the door on my way to work
"sir your assistant left and left this for you, "she said
I took the note opened it " good morning sir I am just reminding you of the meetings you have today " and lists of the meetings and the paperwork needed with all the details, which added more fuel to my fire how could she be that casual it's like nothing happened.
I scrambled the paper and throw. I got to the office by eight, as usual, no one there except the cleaning staff and few employees here and there I headed toward my office I and when I entered the office she was in there, holding some files hair pined up in a messy bun black shirt, black figure-hugging skirt.
"Good morning sir, "she said trying to take charge which made me scoff
"Good morning Sarah" I replied after a pause
She placed the files and the cup of coffee and kinda ran away to the door where I was still standing.
"Aren't you little early than usual Miss Cruz?" I asked sarcastically
"Your meetings start at 10 I notified all departments involved and Mr. Knight will arrive soon to head the financial Dep. Meeting" and she passed by me to the door
"You are limping Miss Cruz are you ok" I stopped the door with my hand kinda hugging her from behind and I whispered to her ears. She didn't even look at me just opened the door the fast she can and ran out of the office.
The day was so busy we had so much to do and she was like her, usual busy efficient on top of things, self. The thing that made me admire her even more .the opposite of what I was expecting, I thought she would be distracted, or angry the least.
"sir our final meeting with the PR dep. Would you like a break or shall I let them in "she said her eyes avoiding any contact with mine which was kind of annoying to me.
"Sarah dear I would want to have this break and want to have some food because if you leave it to your workaholic boss we would starve to death" Smith said jokingly and they exchanged smiles to each other and she nodded "I 'll send some food from your favorite restaurant it won't take long "she said without even checking with me and where is that smile came from .
"ok, I 'll leave you to your launch I have some E_mails to be done with, "I said standing up heading out of the conference room.
"Damion wait have something to eat.." and before he finished his words I was in my way to the office checking my watch oh its almost six o clock.
"Miss Cruz my office now, "I said
"yes sir" she entered the office
"finished with your launch I guess ,shall we go back to work take these files and head to the archive store them by hand in my private section of the archive"I said I was little bit annoyed ....ok I was angry so angry she avoid me all day and kept laughing and being nice to everyone and what was that with Smith about launch since when they know each other that she knew his favorite food and restaurant.
Sarah's POV
The day was long scary and I dreaded every single second of it I tried so hard to avoid him I couldn't face him. Every time we were in the same room I feel my blood boiling and I couldn't help myself. Every time he talks I get flashbacks of last night his mouth in my ears whispering his seductive, dirty, words. I was hardly keeping it together.
I pried the whole day not to stay with him in the same room alone
My body still aching from last night and the fact that he is so near me doesn't help.
All I was thinking about is that I hope he didn't notice I was a virgin god knows what a loser he would think I am. But since he didn't bring it up till now it means he didn't know.
I took the files he handed to me and head to the archive it's over 7 right now and almost everybody heads home except for a few dep. Employees.
The archive was in the basement of the building when I got there the room was empty no one was there because everyone has left so I started to look for that section of he was talking about and to my surprise, it wasn't a section it was a freaking room an entire room.
"of course it's a whole room ok let get it over with," I said rolling my eyes to the back of my skull
I opened the door when I entered I noticed a desk on the other end of this dark cold room. But suddenly the door closed behind me and I heard a noise.
My whole body was throbbing I felt my heart is about to escape my chest.
"who is there?" I shouted filled with fear.
Then I felt a hand around my mouth and the other was around my waist
"sh...it's me "it was him o mg I almost dyed I never been happy to hear his voice, but I wanted to punch him for scaring me like that.
"I am letting you go don't shout "with me kicking and struggling to get out of his firm grip.
He put me down and I was hardly breathing I tried to control my breathing but it was hard especially with him standing in front of me and knowing we are here in this god forsaking room alone wondering what is he planning to do to me...
